Very friendly staff. The fees are reasonable and necessary in these hard times of keeping a small airport open. Conveniently located in the western suburbs of Philly too. Support your local privately owned GA field.

We called prior to departure and did not get an answer. We called in range via UNICOM and did not get an answer. We landed, and were told by UNICOM to "Park at the FBO at the Northeast Corner (FBO is South Central)." There are no signs and the taxiways are very skinny and lined with aircraft. There is no sign for the FBO. There was no lineman for parking. I would strongly advise against bringing any medium to large aircraft (i.e. jets or turboprops) into this airport. Just my two cents.

I take back all the horrible things I said before. These guys have changed their fee structure to something that is much more reasonable for the typical General Aviation user: one night free with 10 gallons gas and $10/night there after. Plus they area very pleasant and helpful Bunch. Bravo!

Flew in with a 172 for the avionics shop and wound up going to the FBO for fuel. Staff was friendly and airplane was topped off promptly. Aside from the fuel price (not their fault, and not out of line with other airports in the area) service was great. No service fees. Nice airport, but I agree $20/nt tie down for a single is excessive. $10 would probably be more appropriate.

John Taylor, airport manager, was exceptionally helpful. My wife and I flew in and spent five days in the Brandywine area visiting Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, the Brandywine battlefield, and the Brandywine (Art) Museum. John helped us plan our stay and even drew a map of the area so we would see some of the scenic countryside. I found the prices for tie down and fuel very reasonable. We are from the metro Atlanta area. My wife and I were impressed with Mr. Taylor's efforts to make our stay in the area successful. He even got us a discount at a local very nice local hotel. We travel in our plane a lot and the facility and service at Brandywine was up there with the best we have encountered.

Nice airport just west of Philly. Good runway lighting, but the PAPI was out of service the first time I flew in, which was at night. The tarmac lighting is a little dim, and it receives more light from the white stroke of the rotating beacon than anything else. No big deal. Staff was friendly and laid back. Charged me only $10 to park my Cessna 182 for 40 hours. Rate is $10 a day, which for a privately owned airfield, is reasonable. Will come back if in the area and need a place to land.

I'm still coming in every two or three months and always enjoy the great service. If you like small airports with vibrant GA activity and friendly folks, land here! Wish there were more private airports like this.

I've read a bunch of negative posts on here and was afraid to fly into OQN for the day, but was pleasantly surprised when I did. I was there for 2 hours, getting breakfast with family and they waived the parking fee. They also lowered the overnight parking from $20 to $10, which is a reasonable rate. The lowered rates, coupled with the great service make this a great strip to fly into.

This is a private airport and yes $20 per night is stiff but too many of us are flying in there and using their facilities and courtesy car and buying nothing!! There is not a landing fee either (commercials only). John, the manager will and has helped many a pilot stuck there but those people forgot to say thank you by noting this on AirNav but many have sent thank you notes which are hanging up in the FBO. Maybe John will lower the overnight fees and gas if pilots start buying something!!!

20 bucks per night. They even charge by the hour for parking!!!! Suggest you try somewhere else that’s a bit more GA friendly.

Nice airport, good staff. But I sure am getting tired of these little airports charging 20 bucks per night for tie down for a single engine! It only makes affording aviation for small plane owners that much tougher. Can't help but feel ripped off.

The overnight parking fee is the highest I've ever paid. I've been to Long Beach, Salt Lake International, Nantucket and a bunch of other places. All those places charge less to park than here. $20 a night is insane for an airport that isn't in Manhattan. Philly has plenty of other places you can go I suggest you consider them unless these guys change their fees.

I agree with Doug below. Great airport. Fees they charge are to support the operations, not to make a profit. It is probably the best GA airport in SE Pennsylvania.

Been in a few times and love it. Great little airport, nice folks. Remember, this is a private field, so a ramp fee helps them keep it up nicely. And they're generous with the crew car and anything else you need.

Nice little FBO near West Chester. Guys were nice enough to drive me into town even with 7-gallon top off. No tie-down fee with fuel and they let me use the crew car the next day to return a rental car. Only downside is a $35 charge to pre-heat...A little excessive in my book, but good service for a meager fuel purchase.
