Flew into KOSU on way back from OSH. Landed there because a friend was there the day before and told us they have a Courtesy car. Upon arrival, line guy said yep just go inside and get the car. When we got inside, rather rude women behind counter said they had no car, and the line guy was new and did not know what he was talking about. Upon my return, I confirmed that car was available, women behind counter was in error. I would not come back; there was an attitude there that was not friendly. When we told them why we wanted the car was to go to lunch, she said the restaurant closed 5 minutes earlier at 3 pm.

Visited in a C172R. They were busy with Citation Jets and other business jets, but still gave me excellent treatment. They were very helpful even though I was in a Kent State aircraft. Terminal was first rate. Felt like I flew into Cleveland Hopkins. Love the free popcorn. Controllers helpful and friendly. Look forward to coming back to see an Ohio State game come fall. N119KS

Parked at OSU for a business meeting. Friendly people, small $5.00 landing/parking fee, waived with fuel purchase. Very convenient to the north side of Columbus.

Great FBO. Lineman met the plane as soon as I left the active. They had our rental car waiting on the ramp for us and even had me refueled in just a few minutes so that I could take a friend sightseeing. There is a comfortable pilot lounge and a nice little restaurant in the terminal. They even have an observation tower (I believe it's the old control tower) where you can get a great view of the field and friends arriving/departing. I'll definitely be back in the fall for some great OSU football.

Flew in for the Mustang P-51 Roundup - 107 P-51's at the Rickenbacker Airport - amazing event! OSU airport was very nice with an on-site restaurant; however, the fuel prices are way too high. My local price is $3.80 and they make a profit. Why is OSU $5.00+.... Airports like this are hurting general aviation and at the same time overcharging corporate flight departments who pay the price.

Flew into OSU twice in the past week including a trip for a Buckeye football game. Great service both times. On game day, a lineman erred by putting more fuel on board than requested. He sought me out at the parking lot bus stop to report his error and refused to let me pay for his mistake (several extra gallons of fuel). Columbus APPRCH and OSU tower have a great "can-do" attitude working the broad mix of traffic in the area including the game day crunch of simultaneous arrivals and departures. Thanks to ALL!

One of the most professional FBOs you will find. Everything and everyone functions like a well-oiled machine. Ramp fee usually waived with a fuel top off. Taxi ways currently under construction but very easy to get around. Thanks to all at Ohio State Aviation!

Airport turned IFR as we were arriving (blowing snow), asked and received Contact Approach to 27L. Line service parked us up front, passenger's rental car was waiting, crew car was available, and fuel wasn't terribly priced for Jet A. All in all, not a bad facility.

Was told by FBO that they no longer offer courtesy cars. Pilot may call a taxi or use Thrifty Car Rental.
