From Greg Aldridge on 28-Nov-2007: North Vernon (KOVO) is a great airport. I have all of my annuals done there by Bishop Aviation. They provide great service and can do everything including painting, custom projects and restorations. The FBO is also excellent. They provide good fuel service and flight instruction in a J-3 Cub and a Piper Tomahawk. Very friendly airport - highly recommended.
From Rob Hoyle on 21-Nov-2007: Stopped in on a recent trip from MS to MI as well as the return. Lineman was very nice and helpful. Gas was cheap, will make this a regular stop on this route.
From Billy W. Kervin on 14-Nov-2006: I flew my Cessna 150 from KCEW (Crestview, Florida) into KOVO (North Vernon) last week to visit my kinfolk up there. I landed on Sunday, so my plane spent the first night on the ramp. However, inclement weather was approaching on Monday so the guys hangared my baby that day, where it stayed for 3 more days and nights. My total costs?.... $20.00. Nice facility, nice folks. I highly recommend it.

From Helen Woods on 26-Aug-2006: Stopped in on a long cross country for the cheap gas. What a wonderful airport! The manager came out and fueled the plane for us (even though it was a self-serve pump) and then offered us the crew car to go get lunch. Upon returning I found a few prop nicks, which the A&P dressed for a whopping $5. This field also has extremely well priced private and sport pilot training. Great place!
From Michael Foushee on 19-Nov-2005: North Vernon Airport is a friendly airport with good facilities and a hospitable approach to visitors. The fuel prices are among the best in the area. I recommend this airport as a good place to stop for fuel on cross countries or for flight instruction including taildragger in a real J3 Cub (it's even yellow).
