Great little scenic airport right on the shores of lake Okeechobee. Friendly staff, cute palooka of a dog, and best of all, unbelievable fuel prices!!!!!!!! Its deals like this that is going to get people flying once again.

WOW! What an unbelievable fuel price, as advertised $3.41 and even received an additional $0.20 loyalty discount for patting Moose, a Bullmastiff, on the head (really beautiful dog!)...Lol $3.21 per gallon is a price we haven't seen for over 3 years and hoping this downward trend continues!!! The Aztec was thirsty, 147 gallons; saved $115 from the FBO with usually the best deal, the one on the north side of the lake...Wink John Stinson was grounding my bird before I could unbuckle my seatbelt! Quick turn around, super friendly and great price, you bet I will be back and don't forgot to give Moose a pat on the head!

Landed here midweek and found the airport staff very friendly. They loaned me a crew car for lunch. They towed the plane to the fueler and topped it off for me. Nice people.

Pahokee did a great job for us. We had a flat tire; they helped in every way so I could change the tube (I carry a spare tube). He even lifted one side of the plane (RV6a) to help me block it up! Many thanks!

This has to be, by far, the *nicest* airport I have been to, and certainly the only one where I was given dinner by the line service technician (Thank You, M.!) because the restaurant in town was closed. I didn't know places like this still existed.
