Stopped in to gas-and-go on 7/3/08. Very clean restrooms, nice facility. Self-serve pumps looked almost new. We'd stop here again.

Extremely friendly service. Went today for business and was able to use a nice crew car and pay reasonable fuel prices. Service with a friendly greeting and smile.

I diverted into this airport due to thunderstorms. I found a large ramp with several available tie downs and self serve fuel. The nice looking FBO building was closed when I arrived around 7pm. I got a taxi ride into town ($11 w/ tip) and stayed at the Hampton Inn, which seemed very new. It's a good divert or refueling stop.

Stopped in Paris for an overnight stay. JR Aviation was great. Very clean facility. Fuel price was reasonable and they let me keep their courtesy van overnight. Ate at Magels (about 5 miles from the airport) which was very good and inexpensive.

Stopped in on way back to Austin from Kansas...hollered at Unicom 20 minutes out...guy that waited past closing tossed me the keys and said "see ya in the morning"...we were eating in 15 minutes at "Magels"...it's all good.

We stopped in enroute from MO to TX. We had seen the website for the FBO www.jraviation.net which stated "We Want your cross-country business! Just mention you saw this ad on your next cross-country, and receive 20 cents off Per gallon for either full service 100LL or Jet A." Sounded great! We landed and while taxiing to the ramp someone from the FBO came on the UNICOM and said "the fuel truck is broke, self serve is available on the north end." No one came out to park us. I taxied up to the fuel pit and filled up. No one came out to offer to help me push my 206 over to the tie down area. Certainly it was 102 degrees and I didn't necessarily want to be outside at that time either, but I didn't have an ad on the net trying to entice cross-country business. On the upside, they did allow me to use their crew car to go into town for a bite and their self-serve was a great price at $2.79/gallon, but on the downside, the level of service was not what I anticipated from their website.
