Great service. As a CAA member, we got a great discount on fuel and no overnight fees. We used the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook. They were recommended by Hawthorne, but the CSR I spoke with didn't know there was a discount associated with Hawthorne for pilots and also the Hilton would allow pilots who booked initially as a Hawthorne customer could get a delayed checkout time at no cost. Make sure when you make a reservation with that Hilton that you tell them that you are a pilot from Hawthorne.

Beautiful FBO, excellent service. Here's what I spent for three night's parking for a BE55: Security fee: $20 100LL 30gals @ $8.26/gal= $248.63 Parking 3 nights @ $90/nt=. $270.00 Facility fee...........................=. $140.00 Illinois Tax............................=. $ 19.27 Credit card fee....................=. $ 20.36 Total: $718.26

Stopped here for 3 days. Very nice facility, with competent and friendly line staff and CSRs. Airplane staged and serviced on time for departure. I particularly liked it that the CSR carefully went over the bill line by line on departure to ensure everything was correct (which it was).

Hawthorne KPWK is the best FBO that I fly to. They are professional, courteous and friendly. The facility fee was waived with a fuel purchase and they gave me an AOPA fuel discount. My plane was well cared overnight and pulled up out front before my designated departure time. DA40.
