About Cutter Aviation Founded in 1928, Cutter Aviation is one of the country's oldest general aviation service companies. It has operations at six major airports in Arizona (Deer Valley and Phoenix), New Mexico (Albuquerque) and Texas (Dallas, El Paso and San Antonio). In addition to providing services to transient aircraft, Cutter sells, services and maintains business and privately owned aircraft. The company also provides charter and aircraft management services and operates a full-service travel agency. The Phoenix, Deer Valley, Albuquerque, and Dallas facilities are full-service, fixed-base operations, with El Paso providing line services for transient aircraft. San Antonio provides aircraft and parts sales as well as maintenance.
Looking Back Continuously family-owned for seven decades, the company originated as Cutter Flying Service Inc., in Albuquerque. William P. Cutter envisioned a business that would serve the fledgling aviation community - and the resulting enterprise exceeded his expectations. The company survived the Great Depression, and, at the outbreak of World War II, became major pilot training facility for the military. In 1947, the company began its long-standing affiliation with Beech Aircraft Corporation. From the time the first Beechcraft airplane was delivered, the Cutter name became-and continues to be-synonymous with Beechcraft, a Raytheon company. In fact today, Cutter's Dallas facility is the newest authorized Raytheon service center in the Western United States.
Looking Ahead Over the years, Cutter has maintained a position of leadership in the general aviation community by consistently expanding its services and its locations. Cutter Aviation, Inc., opened its Phoenix operation in 1959. The El Paso facility opened in 1982, Deer Valley followed in 1997, San Antonio in 1998, and Dallas in 2002. Today, a significant ramp expansion project is under way in Phoenix, where two large corporate hangars are being added. Additionally, a new facility is being constructed in El Paso and is due to be completed before year-end. What's more, Cutter closed out 2004 on a high note, booking its best year ever.
Family Values Company President Will Cutter says Cutter's success is due, in large part, to its ongoing emphasis on the core values of Respect, Trust and Integrity. "These are key ingredients to a formula that has kept us at the forefront of the industry," Cutter notes. "They have helped us establish a reputation that we are all proud of. These values have served us well for 78 years, and without them, Cutter would be just another run-of-the-mill service station for airplanes."

Fantastic service. Great staff, attentive, personable...The manager is a sharp young guy who is involved with every aspect of the operation. I didn't catch his name, but we were in and out in a few hours. He made a point to come shake my hand as we were leaving and thank us for our business. They took care of most things without our having to ask. We'll be back. No question. Sharp group.

Stopped in for an all day stay on a Saturday. Great service, they were waiting for us on the ramp as soon as we pulled up. Nice facility. Will be back.

Brought a 172 up to KRBD from Waco and the service was amazing. One of the linemen (Frank) came right out as we pulled up and helped us with everything. I highly recommend this FBO; the pilot's lounge is awesome and the service is totally professional and very friendly. Give this place a visit on your next flight through Dallas!

Flew into Excutive airport yesterday. The staff at Cutter Aviation was very helpful and very professional. Moved my plane to tiedown immediately. Guess what, they welcome you with a welcome mat to step on out of your airplane. Guys keep up the good work, that made my day!

I just visited Cutter for the second time. Both times, I've landed fairly late at night, yet as soon as I'm off the runway, there is someone waiting. Excellent service! Great fuel prices! Will be back soon.

Arrived at 2000 on a Saturday night. Loaded two passengers and called in ahead for a quick turn to upload fuel. The fuel truck was waiting on us, line service helped load bags. We paid bill and were on our way in less than 15 minutes. Very quick turn, will do business again with Cutter if it is my decision. Thanks guys.

We go to Dallas frequently to visit family and always use Cutter at KRBD. Very nice and new facility and super-nice and accommodating staff. Usually will hangar the aircraft overnight for no charge if they have room. Fuel price is high but they are a full-service facility. I have no vested interest but they really are great.

Really nice facility. I liked their ultra-cool air-conditioning and very sunny and pleasant public areas. Nice courtesy vehicle (mini-van) and good helpful service. Fuel too high (no surprise these days). Really close to Dallas downtown but not busy with heavy metal like Love.
