I have flown in for business twice in the last month. Very clean terminal facility, 24-hr self serve pumps is user friendly, fuel prices seem to be the lowest in the area, and staff is helpful. Lots of student activity but not a nuisance at all. Winds get a bit gusty in the afternoon. And use caution landing 26 as the runway noticeably slopes downhill to the West. Made for an 'adventurous' landing on my first visit! Overall very positive experience. I will continue to use Redlands for my Inland Empire base.

Stopped in for lunch nearby. Transient tie downs are at the FBO at east end of field. No charge for quick stop. Manager provided directions to local restaurants.

I made an unscheduled stop due to weather. The airport manager was very friendly. A wonderful local resident offered to take me to a hotel, and then picked me up the next morning and took me back to the airport. Nice place!

Stopped at Redlands to visit my son. Please note right hand traffic for RWY 26. The FBO is at the east end of the field. The airport manager is friendly and was out working on new hangers that are currently being constructed. There is currently no opportunity for storing your plane in a hangar. I was able to tie down for $5/nite or $35 for 2 weeks if you require longer term. The airport is secured by card key locks so you won't be able to drive an auto to your plane. I was unable to find oxygen on the field but California Tool and Welding Supply in Riverside may be able to help you if you bring your pilots license. Fuel pumps on the east end of the field are self-serve. The pumps at midfield are out of order.

Just noticed my 2005 comments still on the board. My last couple of visits have found welcome changes. I found nothing to gripe about at all.

I found Redlands to be a great place, quiet, with decent folk and good things to do and see close to the airport. I've not noticed any signs of vandals, has Chevron fuel services, and a computer accessible for pilots in the main lobby. The tie down fee seems reasonable, at last report it was $5 overnight. It has good growth for hangar space.
