Stopped in for fuel and was very pleased with the field, facility, and the staff. Tony and JD were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

First airport I have stopped in with no courtesy car. We wanted to fill up and get lunch and took 20 minutes to get a taxi to go 2 miles. Gas and service might be great, but come on, at least have one courtesy car. I will not stop in again to get gas.

Flew in Yesterday on a long flight from Addison. Great Stop with friendly staff. Glad to see this place survived the hurricane! Great approach over the water to 14. I will be back!

Nice place to stop. Very clean and nice terminal. Rental car was easy to get and use with Avis. I'll be back.

100LL self-serve price was lower than posted AirNav price on 2/17/2008. Runway 18/36 is closed; it looks like they are resurfacing it. Highly recommended.

Great Little Stop. If you’re in the area, it’s worth the visit.

Use caution at Rockport as Navy T-34 trainers conduct landing pattern practice Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm.

Cannot say enough great things about this airport and FBO. EXCELLENT service! Very good fuel prices and great prices on publications and products. Got several bottles of Wax-All for almost half of what I pay up here in DFW. New runway (14-32) should be opening up by first week of March. Do watch out for a lot of helicopter traffic, though, and along with some CG training. Highly, highly recommend this jewel on the Gulf Coast!

We stayed 5 nights at Aransas Co., no tie down charge. What a difference from some big city airports! Nice people, excellent facility. The only problem was notams were not available on-line before the flight so I did not know runway 14/32 was closed. I should have checked with FSS. 14/32 is being resurfaced and will be closed until ~April 2007. Visit the Texas coast for a laid back vacation. It was like Florida in the 60's before condos covered every square inch. See the write-up in Pilot Getaways magazine for more places to visit and local Texas history. Aransas Co. is a great airport to base your plane for a stay.
