The fuel pumps and planning room are adequate, and the restrooms are open 24/7 and are clean and well maintained. If you miss the closing time for the restaurant (0700 to 1400 local), there's a vending machine but no crew car and no access to restaurants.

What a neat airport! Stopped here in my Baron for gas. Good facilities and good prices. I'd definitely come back.

Stopped in at Ryan for fuel, the breakfast kind. Taxi past the tower and right up to the restaurant. Nice restaurant, good service. The guys in the tower were very helpful. I will stop again the next time I go to Nogales.

Not the most pilot-friendly airport for the overnight visitor. No services, overnight tie downs are under the tower but the pilot lounge is a VERY far walk. A CFI named Kelly was very helpful - a true 'good Samaritan' - when she helped me with a ride to the lounge and in getting a rental car. But in general, unless you're landing for fuel, you're probably better off at KTUS.

Response from Scott Driver, Director of Ryan Airfield
Mr. Clarke parked on the long-term apron, which he accurately describes as far from the pilot lounge. I'd like to note that the short-term apron provides very easy access to the pilot lounge, restrooms, weather computer, restaurant, and self-serve island.

Very nice. Out in the middle of no where. Plenty of parking and cheap fuel. Bathrooms and pilot lounge are exceptional. As for the other comments about the locked doors, read the door. The door has a combination lock and says "squak VFR". Very clever. If you can't figure this one out, maybe you should use another lounge.

Hmm. Don't know about the 4th of July - maybe it was closed for the holiday? The bathrooms are definitely open now - very clean. The pilot's lounge has a place to stretch out, microwave and vending machine, a clean nondusty floor and WSI weather briefing system in place. The basics are here, and I'm very happy for the improvements!
