Can never go wrong with Signature Service!!! They are always there with a smile and everyone offers to help. No matter how busy they seem to be, everyone gets the same service!!

Signature was very helpful right from parking, they got us a nice room at a nice clean hotel for cheap money, they waived the $28.00 fee with a fuel purchase of 7 or more gal., and parking for $5 a night is not a bad deal at all for the services. Closest place to Savannah/Tybee island if flying in. Highly recommend this place.

Always a pleasure at Signature, and this one is no different. Yes, you can find gas a little less expensive in other places, but you always get great service. Take advantage of all the little extras such as the Q-Cart for your dime! I cannot think of a time when I was not marshaled in properly, immediately greeted (with a smile and added pleasantries), and everything I could want they could get or knew the right person to call!!

Good service, everyone was friendly and we were taken care of promptly. The gals behind the desk arranged for a hotel and taxi upon our arrival. A little pricey, even with the $.50 discount on the weekends. We toped off our 172 and were on our merry way the following afternoon.

My student and I parked the airplane and went inside for a brief 30-minute break. Net result: we were charged a $28 fee. Immediately after walking inside, we told them that we were planning to leave soon and there was not a need for fuel. We became aware of the $28 charge only after being there for approx. 10 minutes. Ok, I will have to take the responsibility for this one. CFI's beware.

'Dropped in to Signature Savannah this week for an overnight stay with family there. I've been to Signature quite a few times in the past and have been treated well with 3 different single engine GA airplanes, my latest being a Mooney. Line and counter staffs are very friendly and prompt. Desk tender ANGIE took care of us in no time; the plane was refueled on Saturday as we wanted (for the $.50 off weekend rate). Normal price for 100LL is $5.70 / gallon with all the taxes, so it's still on the highest side paying $5.20 / gallon. But, the service, Internet, free snacks, and very nice FBO make it easier to deal with. There was no "landing fee", no parking fee for the one night stay, and no negotiations needed prior to pulling out the wallet!

Stopped in from Cape Cod on 10/22/07 for fuel and one night tie down. Comments on high fuel prices ($5.12) may be true BUT the service was excellent. They set me up at Hawthorne Suites at very cheap rate ($84). Called the shuttle for our ride, got out luggage, and offered us soda or coffee. The pilot planning room is a nice touch. I will stop here again. Thanks for the great service Signature!

Stopped at SAV for what to be a quick turn for some fuel. Was planning on self-serve but needed to check weather so I stopped at Signature. Fuel was expensive, but after a rest stop and a soda no one was anywhere around my plane with a fuel truck. The women at the counter seemed disinterested when I told them I was in a hurry. She said everyone was busy moving airplanes. I finally told her to cancel the fuel order and I would go to self-serve. On the way out a concerned line guy apologized and offered to get the fuel truck right away. We agreed to take just what we needed and were on our way. Not the service I expected at these prices. I won't stop here again.

Second trip to SAV and Signature. As usual, I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing. They did everything to make my passenger and me feel welcome and not rushed. The plane was fueled and ready to go when asked. They still need to make hangers an option for single pistons. Still $0.50/gal discount on 100LL on weekends.

Fuel was 197.46 for 34.8 gallons all in (5.67 a gallon) many state, fed taxes on it to make this price. We landed at 10 pm (closing time) but all the folks made sure everything was looked after before closing up 20 mins later. Rental car etc all done well. Someone owes these girls 20 mins pay. A very good big city experience. The first fuel bill presented said jet on it so I was a little concerned, but it was a billing error not a fueling error. I gave it a sniff etc and it was indeed 100 ll. Signature gets an A for service. We would all like 2 dollar fuel but that is not a present reality.

Arrived about 7:30 PM Friday June 10. Lineman helped unload baggage, told me to refuel the next day (.50/gal cheaper). Rental car waiting. Left on Monday crew at front dust said they could not decipher my handwriting and had not filled tanks. They proceeded to do so and honored the discount. Definitely first class.

Stopped on 9 June 2007. Never had I had a more pleasant experience. Line personnel extremely helpful and friendly. Always ready with a cart and even took me to a local restaurant. Two ladies behind the counter, Ms Haley Stacey and Ms Angie Holton, were fun, pleasant and couldn't do enough for me. These ladies are the best in the business. Can't wait to go again.

Worst FBO that Signature has. I don't mind paying extra for service but here all you get is attitude with the customer service agents. Linemen don’t have a clue about anything. And each one blames the other for the problems. Asked to speak to a manager several times and got nothing

Flew in on 3/28/07 just before closing and left on 3/30/07. My experience was great. I have called ahead 2 weeks in advance. The met us with the golf cart, help with the luggage and had the car ready. Fuel was high, but that is not uncommon at the bigger airports in Georgia. The only draw back is that there was no hangar space. Even two weeks in advance they let me know that a hangar would no be available for my Mooney.

Based upon my most recent flight into KSAV, I'm a little surprised by all the negative comments about this FBO. I was prepared for a terrible experience and found just the opposite. The desk personnel were friendly and quite helpful; the facility was modern, well thought out and clean. Fuel prices, though high (like everywhere these days) were far from the highest I've seen recently -- my ramp fee was waived and I received a .50/gallon weekend fuel discount. While Signature as a corporation may not be everyone's favorite, after my visit I sincerely believe the Savannah branch is doing their best to provide a positive customer service experience, at least for this PA28 driver.

This place is nice--as long as you're getting fuel. I stopped in there today just to take a quick bathroom break, low and behold they want to charge me a "handling" fee or buy 7 gallons of avgas. At their rate, $32 for putting some chocks around my tires? No way. They said they would let me slide just this once--but trust me, I won't be back anytime soon, unless I'm getting that self serve gas for $1.50 cheaper.

Very good service, friendly, and helpful. Day's Inn hotel walking distance (3/8 mile). Another hotel even closer although Signature will graciously provide transportation. Fuel is on the high side as expected with Signature, but 7 gallons purchased will waive the $27 ramp fee (small single engine).

Agree with the comment about Signature needing some serious competition. Some of the linesmen were helpful and friendly. All the ladies behind the counter were not. Very unfriendly and rude. Even makes you feel like they're doing you a favor for waiving the ramp fee (after purchasing $200 worth of gas.) I've been to dozens of FBOs and this one definitely joins the worst few.

Typical Signature experience, fuel is $1.00 higher than everyone else, ramp fee is unbelievable, no one to park us upon arrival. Night shift was helpful with the rental car (called the night before) but the day shift the next morning wasn't. All I needed was to let the rental car people (Hertz) know I would be arriving earlier than previously expected, and I was greeted with sarcasm and rudeness. Boy these people need some competition!!!!!!!

I was a bit hesitant to fly to SAV based on the comments here and the fact that Signature is the only FBO. The fuel prices are a bit high but the service was good. Upon arriving in a 172RG a lineman directed us. A few moments later, another gentleman arrived on a golf cart to take us to the office. They also offered us a no charge shuttle over to the main airline terminal to pick up a rental car, which was greatly appreciated. On the front counter is a small chart that list how much fuel purchase Signature requires to waive the handling/ramp fee and what the fee is. A 7-gallon purchase was required in my case to avoid the $25 fee. Also, I have heard a rumor that there is a new FBO currently under construction that should open in the spring. There is a big construction project going on across runway 36 from Signature so I'm not sure if that’s it. Regardless, I will not hesitate to go back to Signature though the competition will be welcome if it materializes.

Flew into KSAV for New Year's weekend. The Signature staff treated us very well. Although we only bought 18 gal of avgas, they didn't charge us any ramp/parking fees for a 2-night stay. We'll be back. Watch out for the expensive cab ride into the historic district ($40 for 4 people, only 10 minutes away).

Jet A $5.84/gal buy 125 gallons or pay a Ramp Fee of $200.00 (Pilatus PC-12 402 gal useful). This is the Highest Ramp Fee we have seen anywhere in the Nation for this aircraft.

Arrived on 11/25 and stayed overnight. Ramp fee was waived with fuel purchase and .50 weekend discount. Ready to depart with dead battery, lineman jumped me off with no hesitation. Good service and worth the prices. Lots of jets around my bugsmasher 172, but we were still treated well with golf cart ride to FBO and plane.

Ramped at Signature 11/25 for an overnight. I was not looking forward to it due to all of the negative things written previously...But...The service couldn't have been better. Lineman that handled us was efficient and courteous. I expected a big ramp fee when paying for gas, however it was waived. .50/cent/gal discount on the weekend was a nice gesture even though it is still a little high. Approach and tower ppl were excellent in handling all the traffic on Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very nice staff and facility. The cookies were great! Be sure to fill up on the weekend and save .50 per gallon if you can. Price was still high but every little bit helps. We had an overnight stay so since we bought fuel, the only cost we had was a $5 Ramp parking fee.

First class service Sept.30-Oct. 1. We had an oil leak, which was discovered by the line crew on refueling (big puddle on nose wheel) which turned out to be from a bent pushrod. Line crew was great about putting us in touch with the on-call mechanic at Savannah Aviation, towing our a/c there, and shuttling us there and to the passenger terminal for our rental car. Alas, had to leave the plane for repairs!

I was very concerned about Signature after reading the comments on AirNav, so I called before we went. We were coming to town for the $500 hamburger (inflation and fuel prices) so I asked about a rental car. Mindy said to wait until we got there and if they weren't busy they would let us use a crew car. Upon arrival we were promptly parked and taken to the terminal in a golf cart. Mindy loaned us a crew car for the afternoon and serviced the Bellanca Super Viking. We were treated well. No service fee, but we bought fuel. Fuel was a little pricey, but what's new about that? The service was worth more than the extra few dollars we paid for the fuel. This is a first class facility with great people and it costs money to provide free gourmet coffee, cookies, snacks and crew cars. If you can't afford the fee for service or the extra few dollars for gas, don't go. But if you want a great facility with professional service, go and realize nothing is free in this society.

Ramp fee for our Navajo was $140. We needed no services would have been off the ramp in 3 minutes if not for having to pay the ramp fee extortion. Will not be using them again in SAV or otherwise. Picked up our passenger later in the week at another nearby airport. Goodbye SAV

Flew in from KMCN for a 4 hour business meeting. The service is fine and the facility very nice but typical Signature ARROGANCE. Fuel prices are ridcules. Charged me a $55 ramp fee for a BE55 Baron. If I could avoid Signature I would, but they are the only game in town.

Did a very quick turn in SAV today. I had my six shooter ready because I expected to be parked by Jesse James. However, I was meet by Gary Gutkowski the General Manager. I opened the door and said I have a one pax drop and I am out of here, I asked what the ramp fee will be. To my surprise Mr. Gutkowski took my pax loaded her on the golf cart said there would be no ramp charge. That is the way it should be.

Signature was very busy upon our arrival but I felt that we got good service. We got assistance with our bags from the aircraft to the terminal, called a cab for us and tracked that they were on the way without our having to ask. Aircraft was serviced even before our cab got there. Departure was also good service even though they were again quite busy. The manager was friendly and helpful. He was out on the ramp helping and was even going to personally help with our bags except its just something I always do myself. Fuel price was on the high side but not out of line with other FBOs I have stopped at. I was pleased overall.

Another example of Signature's ridiculous price's and poor service. Arrived at 2130 in a Lear 55 stayed 12 hour's and was charged $350 Ramp fee with no service to the aircraft. Fee would be waived if I bought 300 glns at $5.41. GPU would not put out more than 26 V. My message avoid Signature at all cost.

February 9th - Arrived in my 182 and was met and parked by line person who also helped with baggage and tie down. Delayed refueling until I could get the weekend price of $4.05 - not way out of line with other local prices. $25 ramp fee was waived for fuel purchase but paid $5 per night tie down. More of the same I'm sure, but Signature has to absolutely be the worst FBO for the money. If their fuel prices were $2.00/gal less, one could justify trying to help their business. Their minimum ramp fee ($200.00 in our case) for not buying fuel is cheaper than buying the minimum fuel order. (120 gal) I suppose they would rather not fuel anyone, and simply take the money. You'd think for the excessive ramp fee the service would be outstanding. It is only average. They're profitable only because they're the only show in town.

Planned a trip to Savannah and everything was very nice except my experience at Signature. My wife and I planned to go into town for 4 hours the crew car limit was 2 so they set me up with a rental car after paying close to 50 dollars and not to mention the top off of my tanks which was steep as well. Customer service is sub par. Next time I will fly into a another airport and or FBO perhaps they may like to see $$$ Signature is getting out of hand I will avoid them in the future.
