Visited twice as a fuel stop. Top rate facilities, the FBO staff gave out several airport advisories on the way in, and both times called US on the radio to see what services we would be needing when we arrived. Restaurant was closed for some reason when we arrived around 5pm on a Monday.

Landed with a fuel leak problem in my Beech 18. Received great assistance from Classic Aviation on the field. Had a great lunch at the cafe on the field. And then got back on our trip. Thanks all!

Flew down from KMMU to visit friends. Chris parked us and gave us a ride to the terminal. Mr. S. Smith was at the desk and was very friendly. The terminal was nice but lacked the coffee pot for those who need their "Caffeine-Fix".

Needed to make a sudden landing here at night due to incoming weather and plane difficulties. One line guy was a cheery spot in an otherwise rotten day. Took care of basics while I de-stressed. Less than impressed with Hertz rent-a-car service and feel I got ripped off by them but they had it and I needed it. Very nice FBO and a wonderful little airport.

This airport is one of aviation's little jewels. Friendly, helpful people on the flight line and at the desk..All glad to have your business. Fair prices. If you have a maintenance issue, just walk 100 ft. To Classic Aviation and it's very likely they can fix it. Classic believes in "good service" the old way. Classic does great aircraft restorations, knows Jacobs engines, Lyc's, Cont's and P&W, and maintains a bunch of King Airs, etc.

Had anticipated flying into SHD for two weeks to attend a wedding in Staunton. Called the Airport today to check the availability of a courtesy car. "Free to pilots to use in the local area" was the advertisement. Was told they were not free, but available for two hours with fuel purchase. We canceled our plans to fly into SHD.

Spent about 5 hours at SHD with a snowstorm bearing down, staff was friendly and helpful from the arrival to the deicing on departure. Thanks to the airport ops for plowing us out for our departure. Nice new, clean facilities with wireless and comfy chairs in the lounge. A very nice stop!

This is one of the best FBO's I have traveled into. I have been here in a Cirrus, Bonanza, and a King Air. The level of service was excellent regardless of what I flew in on. Nice, new, clean building.

I stopped at SHD on my way to MTN on Sept 22 and again on Sept 24 on my return trip. They are very friendly and helpful. Very good people. I will stop here again. Thanks SHD you are too cool.

Consistently great service. Lineman even helped get my cover on the aircraft. Stayed at the Joshua Wilton House in Harrisonburg... both highly recommended

Flew in from Athens, GA yesterday. As advertised, the FBO, which is run by the county, is clean, efficient and helpful. The fuel truck was at the plane within minutes after I shut the engine down. Spent two nights and a sightseeing day in Staunton and stayed in a B&B, which I'd highly recommend.

Stopped for fuel on Aug 19. Very spacious, comfortable facility. Quick service by a friendly lineman. I will definitely stop again if passing by.

Stopped for fuel. Impressed with nice clean terminal and prompt service. In and out very quickly. I'd stop again.
