Flew my wife in, and we were picked up in less time than it took to freshen up at the FBO. The food was great and very abundant - I am a "big eater" (I.E. FAT) and hardly even made a visible dent in my plate. Expect to pay 10-20 per entree, with all you can eat southern food and a delightful atmosphere. The best "$100 hamburger" I have ever had. We chose to walk the 1.5 miles back to the airport to be ready to fly home.

Lamberts in Springfield, MO also offers the same back-door treatment. My wife and I rented a car at the airport, so I can't speak to whether they will pick up because it's quite some distance.

We flew in Monday for lunch. The FBO called the restaurant and a van arrived promptly. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Monday afternoon, but it was just after the holidays. It's nice to know there would have been no wait for us even if there had been a line. We had a fun and filling lunch across from a Blackhawk crew and rode back to the airport with a couple of gentlemen flying a civilian helicopter. As mentioned by others, the owner is an active pilot and you'll find a nice area of aviation art inside the front door of the restaurant.

STOP here and eat at Lamberts. Great shuttle and the FBO will do whatever they can to take care of you. Lineman even stayed late for our return since we didn't want to leave Lamberts. What a great food stop in southern MO.

Stopped in at Lambert's Cafe for dinner en route from MNV to MKC. There was an hour-long wait but van driver got us right in the back door. The Travel Channel rated this place as one of the top ten places to pig out in the U.S. And I would have to agree. Friendly service, great food, all you can eat and a unique experience. I highly recommend this stop if you're anywhere near Sikeston, MO.

For anyone who has not had the chance to stop in Sikeston and visit Lambert's, you're missing out on great food, friendly staff and an experience you won't soon forget. Even if you're not a pilot and get to enjoy the head-of-the line privileges, you'll get alot of food and have alot of fun. The worst thing I can say about the place is that we generally get off schedule on our family cross-countries because we stay too long having too much fun.

Great food and plenty of it! Friendly staff with dead-on accuracy while throwing the rolls...heads up! We ran into Morgan Freeman during one of many trips to SIK so you never know who you might see from the aviation community. Look forward to every trip I make. It's about an hour flight from OLV. Great job guys and gals. Keep up the good work.
