Yes, the fuel prices at SNA are nuts...But Signature is a class act. Great service, nice facility. Pistons are parked within walking distance, too, which I really appreciate!

I just called this FBO so that I don't get shocked. For a twin, the handling fee is $250 or a minimum fuel purchase of 50 Gal.

Updated Signature SNA charges. $50 service fee (waived if you buy 20 gal of fuel), and $30/night for single engine.

It is hard for me to see how there can be anything negative to say about Signature KSNA. We arrived in our C182, line service asked if we needed anything including lugging our bags. Our rental car was ready to go within minutes. When we returned, we were treated like we had a G5. The line service guy asked if he could drive my son, who is autistic, for a tour of the airplanes. Perhaps us piston guys should realize that a first class place like this only stays alive by fuel sales. I will continue to buy more than the "minimum" fuel purchase from Signature to help them to be there next time I visit GA friendly KSNA.

Very nice facility and the desk personnel were also nice. But the overall level of service for a piston single was not worth the $127 for 15 gallons of fuel and 2 nights parking (chocks - no tiedowns). When dropped at the a/c for departure, the lineman just left (after he got his tip). No help with the chocks or cleaning the windshield. Definitely the first and last time I'll use John Wayne (KSNA) when visiting L.A.

Beautiful facilities, high prices, indifferent service. If you fly a piston aircraft, expect no ramp assistance, and expect to be ignored at the counter when Jet customers come in.

Flew in for a quick fuel stop and some food, we taxied in the same time as a turbine so we were of little interest to them (except for the fact we were in front the jet and in the way). The FBO facilities were as expected for a FBO and airport of this size, the service was more lacking then you would expect however. As most people complain as well the rigid $50 ramp fee is extremely excessive. I'm pretty sure Signature doesn't need to tax us little guys!

NOT Friendly and their prices are just ridiculous. I remember there was a time the staff were very friendly but now a days NOT AT ALL. Especially the lady at the desk. I hope they can change the attitude at Signature.

They made my rental car and hotel reservations. Parked us when we arrived and took great care of us all the way through our departure. I see complaints about cost but here is the deal. It is worth every penny. The facility is first class and so is the staff. I don't mind paying for that.

Picked up three rescued Dalmatians in my Bonanza on a Pilots-n-Paws flight. Signature could not have been more helpful, including lugging and loading a large crate and 3 dogs. No handling fee, as I did need fuel and bought 20 gallons at the big-city price. If you call them ahead for an Angel flight or similar they may well waive the handling fee if you don't need fuel.

Flew in with a student to pick up some food and gas. The facilities were top notch and service was friendly enough, but it was obvious that they were more interested in their Jet customers than our little piston twin. What's really outrageous though is the $100 service fee. They'll give you $50 off if you buy at least 20 gallons, and waive the entire fee if you buy 40 gallons or more. Unless money is no concern I would recommend looking elsewhere for a quick fuel stop.

I must say, what a disappointment. I flew in just for a few minutes, told the lineman that I wanted to use the head and take off, the girl at the desk insisted she must charge me a $50 handling fee. Do not go here if you don't have to.

I used to be a big fan of Signature at SNA, flying in there at least a few times a month. Friendly people and they would waive the $50 handling charge as long as I took a top-off (in a Bonanza coming from San Diego this was never the 20 gal minimum) and letting me use a crew car when available. Unfortunately a new policy (according to a manager) in place as of yesterday says no waiving the handling charge but they will waive half (so charge you only $25) if you buy at least 10 gal of their 100LL at $6.09/gal. So long Signature (and maybe SNA), I was willing to pay your exorbitant fuel prices but $25 or more charge to pump that gas just isn't going to work out.

Great FBO!!! They took care of me, my passengers, and the airplane. Had the rental car waiting for my passengers and a shuttle waiting for me to take me to my hotel. Good service.

I had another great experience while visiting on 8/4/09 in our 172. They waived the $50 handling fee and gave me a crew car without hesitation.

They were great. They waived their landing fee when I bought gas for my 172. They also gave ma a crew car to pick up my friend who flew in on United, at the main terminal. Their gas is $$$, but you get what you pay for, "Outstanding Service". Thanks again.

I stop in at Signature in Orange County on a regular basis and they never fail to make me feel welcome and at home. Even though I fly a small plane and don't buy much fuel compared to most of the traffic they see, I never feel like a second-class citizen.

I have made several overnight stops at John Wayne in the past six months and I stayed with Signature every time because of their great service and friendly people. They always offer me a little bit of discount on fuel or they waive the handling fee. And their cookies are always fresh!

I'm happy to report that it's a new day at Signature KSNA! Service is as good as it gets anywhere; prices are fair considering the outstanding facilities and location. Ken and Richard are unusually helpful with a first rate staff -- THANK YOU!

Visited for several days on a family trip in our King Air. Entire staff was helpful and professional. Full range of services was appreciated. At least at this location Signature appears to have gotten the message on fees. Our only cost beyond fuel was a reasonable ramp fee. I would recommend them.
