Simply one the nicest airports in CT! Great FBO and the Chester Airplane factory does a great job! Happy to be based here!

Great airport to visit a beautiful area. Ground crew is very helpful. I didn't get charged for parking after a 16-gallon fill up. Highly recommend.

Chester Airplane Factory (on the field) is a terrific facility for GA aircraft maintenance. Careful, competent, thorough. In my 20 years of aircraft ownership, they are, by far, the best.

Although noted as Self Serve, there is no credit card reader by the pumps for after hour’s operation -- as we discovered late one evening.

I have been there on several occasions over the last 5 years to visit friends in the area. Excellent little airport to get in and out of. Helped me get my plane started yesterday in the cold weather and didn't charge me. Always fun landing on that short, sloping, narrow runway on top of the hill.

As airport manager Jimmy Olsen says ... "First class or no class". And Chester (SNC) is a first class operation. The airport is well run. The FBO is very helpful. And ... The repair shop (Chester Airplane Factory) is fantastic! SNC is a great placed to be based. It's also a great destination. Nice local shops and restaurants. Well worth your next $100 hamburger.
