Flew into Ruidoso for the first time and had a good experience all around. Upon landing, the lineman called us on the radio guided us to our parking spot and he tied down the plane. John with Enterprise was waiting with our rental car, pulled it to the plane, loaded our luggage, and gave us great recommendations on hiking and dining in Ruidoso. I highly recommend Ruidoso & Enterprise.

This is a good airport with reasonable service for a county FBO. You must make your own arrangements (in advance) getting to/from town. We look forward to our next trip to Ruidoso. Caravan N324CC

Have flown into SRR many times in the past and agree with the comments about Chris at Kiki. Very nice guy and ready to help if you have issues with the plane. We always use Enterprise and they are fine, if you call way ahead of time. This airport is owned and staffed by the city/county so do not expect things to be like an FBO at other places. They do a descent job but the airport is stuck 12 miles or so away from everything and it’s well worth planning ahead when coming here.

I followed Owens advice below and used Ruidoso Rental Car. Jerry was great, and as advertised. Fuel was $3.78 per gallon. No break on overnight tie-down of $6.00 per night.

Met by courteous lineman and Jerry (Ruidoso Rental Cars) who had the car waiting and assisted with baggage unloading, awesome service so forget Enterprise Rental. Ruidoso Car Rental contact number is 575-630-0446. Rented a nice PT Cruiser for $45/day. Charged a reasonable $10 tie down fee for my 3-day stay. Departed on New Years Eve and the airport service personnel seemed totally detached.

Stopped midday. Met by follow me vehicle to tie downs. Lineman chocked nose gear and began to tie down the A/C. Nice facility but only machine snacks available at airport. Nearest restaurant is 8-10 miles away. Initially declined fuel purchase but plans changed and fuel truck was prompt and driver competent and courteous when fuel was ordered.

I give SRR line service a 2, there're not helpful at all........ I give Enterprise rent car there a -15..... Both should be avoided at all costs

Took a 2-day trip to Ruidoso for a conference. Enterprise will deliver cars to the Sierra Blanca airport, but you need to make advance arrangements for that. I called-in 30 minutes out and the car was waiting for my arrival. Line crew was helpful. Chris, the owner/A&P of Kiki Aviation did a quick oil change on my plane while I was there. Reasonable prices and great service by all.

Flew into SRR for the New Year weekend. 10 miles out I called Unicom, and the line guys asked if I wanted a cab (yes!) called. They listened until I was on final, then drove out to the taxiway and guided me over to the tie-down. They helped me unload my two pax and bags into their warm van, and then took the pax to the FBO while I cleaned up the plane, etc. On departure, they were just as nice. I needed to leave light on fuel due to weight, but happily paid tie down and bought some oil, etc. I truly wish all FBOs operated this way. By the way, we heard taxi service could be spotty, but found that Dollar Taxi in Ruidoso was prompt, friendly and priced right and would recommend them to anybody!

The folks at Sierra Blanca are some of the best airport people I have ever met. I enjoy their company as well as their tireless efforts to help in any way they can. I have had mechanical problems with my cardinal that I thought were going to sideline me for a good spell. Told Larry about it and before the next day Chris had it fixed and I was on my way.
