Flew to SUA to repo an aircraft not on Galaxy ramp. Taxied to look for self serve pump, none there. Parked on Galaxy ramp and requested 10 per side. My chase plane parked behind me on the end of the ramp. Walked inside and paid for 20 gal, and was told the other plane would be charged ramp fee of 18 dollars!! I said you must be kidding, after paying for fuel; manager came out and eventually waived the ramp fee for the other aircraft due to the fact that I took 20 gal. Flew there from west palm beach Jet Aviation that had twice the facilities, stayed there for 3 hrs and had cookies and coffee waiting for a package, Asked for the ramp fee, and was told "None enjoy your flight". This case was handled by the manager and well, but what if he was not there? You can guess my opinion.

On my last visit to Galaxy, a relatively new employee informed me that the "pickup" and "drop off" fees that I was being charged were imposed by the city of Stuart. I then received a call from David Smith, Galaxy's Gen. Manager to set the record straight. Galaxy, like most FBO's, charges a facility fee of $18 ($19.17 with tax) in lieu of purchasing a minimum of 10 gallons of avgas. The city of Stuart imposes no fees. Mr. Smith was extremely professional and courteous in contacting me. Thus, I will most certainly use galaxy any time I am in the area. Further, they are committed to AirNav and guarantee AirNav members a members only discount on fuel!

Very nice FBO. Service excellent and prompt; car driven out to plane; AirBoss discount as advertised. Galaxy is not super-slick looking but it has everything you need and a great, helpful staff.

Professional outfit and both counter and line service very squared away. Had the two rental cars out to meet the aircraft. Bought 180 gallons of fuel and paid a $65 parking fee. But worth it for the service. Departing two days later, the counter called the crew to advise that a passenger had arrived any hour early. Good work.

I called the FBO ahead of time and Rosemary was able to secure a hotel at a reasonable rate (a very good impression.) Our 172 were greeted with a friendly line staff, as well as courteous desk personal. My fuel order was "to tabs" (we were flying near max CG.) Galaxy was graciously provided transportation back to the airport. Fuel was not cheep (almost double what I would pay at home.) And despite "topping off" (to tabs/max CG) ramp fees of $15+8 were NOT waved. Service good? Yes worth the price? No. Despite the good service I received, my return to Galaxy is questionable.

Stopped in after taking off from West Palm Beach headed north (because my baby boy had to "use the facilities.") Professional line staff marshaled me in and out. Shirley at the front desk was courteous and friendly. Paid $18 for ramp fee use of facilities for 1 hour, which was fair as they are top rate and have nice lounge, weather room, etc.

Galaxy @ SUA is a bit pricey, but their customer service is TOPS. Jean Ballou is in charge of customer service & really makes it her business to make your life easier. I go into SUA about 4-5 times per year & it's always easy.

Sent a friend there in his Maule to visit and the cost is unfriendly to the general aviation public. 100LL $6.32 plus ramp fees.

Staff is very helpful and courteous. Only drawback is that if you are flying a small single engine airplane, you had better plan ahead and make sure you have room to take on 11 gallons. If you don't you will get charged a pretty hefty fee. It would be really good if they changed their policy to just take on some fuel, not a minimum amount. I bet a lot more people would be happy.
