I visited the Restaurant today (9/30/2009). The airport itself has a very nice, long runway and a VASI (at least on 25). The restaurant is a small little place on the side of the airport. The prices were very cheap and the food was so good. I got a cheese burger with fries and this girl that a brought got chicken fingers with curly fries. The waitress was very helpful and the food got to us quickly after we ordered. My crush loved it and I will definitely come back. Maybe even try some of the pie. I was really pleased with service I got at the Carroll County Airport Restaurant.

Flew to TSO for breakfast this morning. Great service good coffee and good prices. We didn't get the pie this trip but I'm sure we'll make the trip soon just for the pie.

Stopped in on the way back to Zelienople, PA (PJC) from a cross-country excursion to New Philadelphia, OH (PHD). Tried a slice of homemade black raspberry pie, fantastic. TSO is a great little country airport and the restaurant makes for a perfect reason to make the stop.
