Great SS and flt planning building on the north end of the field. We'll be back - but only after the construction is done - the drop-offs between pavement surfaces are significant, esp for a/c with low wheel pants.

Third or fourth stop at TUP for SS fuel over last three years. The SS terminal is still the nicest I have found--clean, nice rest rooms, computer wx, and goodies for purchase on the honor system. Fuel facility worked as advertised.

Used the self-serve for a fuel stop on 9/19/08. Very good price. The pilot facility near the self-serve pump is outstanding. This nearly new facility has extra clean restrooms, computer with high-speed Internet, honor system snacks and soft drinks plus a living room type rest area. The runway was being repaved during my stop. A great stop.

Great cross-country or overnight stop. They gave me a crew car to take to the motel overnight, a Camry!! Low priced SS fuel and great service. I highly recommend this airport and FBO.

Just to confirm other's remarks about this great stop. Friendly tower folks who helped direct us to the self-serve. There's restroom and flight planning facilities very near. Great prices and a wonderful stop.

Stopped here for fuel based on previous comments and was not disappointed. The SS pump is at the north end of the field and has a nice air-conditioned house with clean bathrooms and showers. Snacks and cold drinks on the honor system. Great place for my family to cool off on a hot summer day while I refueled the plane. There was another Cessna refueling when I arrived, and, at first glance it looked like there wasn’t enough clearance to taxi by and pull up behind, but there is plenty of room to get by. Highly recommend this stop!

Stopped unexpectedly at TUP due to weather. It was 9 p.M. And they were looking to go home, but they arranged a hotel room, hangared the plane, loaned me a crew car for the night, and did everything else they could do to be helpful. First class service can be found here. Thanks, guys!

Stopped into Tupelo on 03/20/2008 at 0100, called for after-hours service and Reid Dawe was out and fueling with the FBO fully opened up in less than 15 minutes. Passengers & their 1 y/o relaxed for about 20 minutes in the pilot lounge watching TV while I prepped for the next leg. Reid even stood out on the cold & windy ramp to shoot the breeze while I performed pre-flight. By far the best service I've received at such an hour. Thanks Reid!

Stopped in for fuel on 12-27-07. Self serve pump worked great, and the flow rate was VERY fast! What a great pilot lounge adjacent, with refreshments and supplies on the honor system. This is a 1st rate GA facility! Places like this are what make the GA world more fun and rewarding. This is how all-small GA airports should be.

First class operation. Arrived at dusk. Lineman (Daniel) met us and moved the plane to a tie-down after we unloaded our evening cargo. Gave us the crew car for the evening and recommended Eli's BBQ near the hotel. Plane was fueled and ready to go 1st thing in the morning. I'll stop again if in the area.

November 23, 2007 my wife and I flew into TUP as we usually do for our stop from Florida to St. Louis. The facility on the North end of the field is a self-service pump. Last time we stopped in the city was in process of building a pilot lounge adjacent to the pumps. The lounge is now complete and is first class with self serve snack food, drinks, oil, local maps, a computer with internet, showers, restrooms, and a crew car. While there are no attendants, there is a tie-down stop in case you want to wander into town. Hats off to this first class airport facility. Bonus... The fuel prices are as low as I have seen them anywhere.

I stopped in at Tupelo for fuel, and I was very pleased with the service. Two linemen met my airplane, chocked it, and started washing the windshield. What a nice touch! I got a volume discount for buying as much 100LL as I did. Very pleasant experience. I would certainly return when in the area.

Fourth stop at the self service facility at TUP. None better in my experience. The amenities are outstanding--let's help the management keep them that way.

I spent the night of 25th Sept. 2007 in TUP and found the service and hospitality to be outstanding. Upon our arrival they arranged our rooms, loaned us their courtesy car, recommended a great restaurant and gave us good directions to find the hotel. I highly recommend that you plan a stop in TUP and enjoy the great service of Tupelo Aviation Unlimited if you are ever in the area.

My wife and I flew into KTUP for a meeting. The facility on the north end of the field with the lounge, conference area, restrooms, shower, etc was jaw-dropping. We fueled at the self-serve, and used the facilities (including $.50 snacks and drinks), borrowed a serviceable (I.E. It had air conditioning!!) Crew car I.E. It had air conditioning!!) From Tupelo Aviation (a hospitable group). It was 100+ degrees, but a really cool place for a quick turn or an extended visit. No sign of Elvis this trip.

The self-service area at the north end of the field is fantastic. Self service pumps, with their own little terminal just 50 yards away. Great place for a quick self serve fuel stop, with no need to taxi back to the full service part of the field for restrooms, flight planning, sodas or snacks.

I flew in to TUP on 04-09-07 and had planned on leaving but due to passengers stayed the night. The folks at Southernaire were top notch. They loaned me a car and gave me directions to a hotel. They really make you feel like they want you there. Jet fuel is reasonable also. Keep up the good work.

I am very pleased with the services available. The self-serve pumps are modern and user friendly. There is even air for the tires available at the pumps. The hospitality building offers weather service, pilot lounge, snacks and drinks and most importantly bathrooms (important for my wife) and is open 24-7. The control tower was very friendly and helpful. My experience will bring me back when in the area. And the best part.........Besides the great amenities an outstanding fuel price!

What can I say that hasn't been said--best Self Service stop I have ever had. Now it is up to the pilots using the facility to refrain from abuse of the equipment and furnishings so others can enjoy a self service fuel stop beyond reproach.

This is by far the nicest self-serve facility I have ever used. The pumps are VERY nice and new and everything you could need to service your airplane is readily available to you. They have a very nice little house looking place with great clean facilities. Internet access, weather info, clean bathrooms, and snacks and drinks available for just 50 cents! The gas was very cheap and the facilities were excellent! What more could you want from a GA stop?

Wow! - What an incredible experience! I have been to many airports around the country, and although I have been to several that were fancy, I would take this over all of them. The attitude here is second to none! They are here for the GA pilot, not to line their pockets at our expense. No fees, inexpensive fuel, nice clean pilot area. Other airports - please take some lessons from KTUP Regional.

Aug. 10: Stopped at TUP for SS fuel twice in 5 days. Great facility: Fuel farm worked as advertised, chocks, protective mat for your paint job, clean cloth for whatever, good ladder, etc. Lounge with CLEAN table, restrooms, overstuffed couch and chairs, conference table, snacks (payment on the honor system), and a computer for WX as well as a phone for FSS. Best SS facility I've seen anywhere.

Stopped on 7/19/06, fuel was just as listed 'Cheap!’ An airport district employee came out to see if we needed a car to go eat, or any other assistance. The new airport pilot’s lounge is great! I will always go via TUP when headed East!

Stopped at the self serve last week and was very surprised with the price difference at opposite ends of the field. I will be a frequent visitor due to my instructor moving to TUP $3.00/gal is great, but up 45 cents in a week is a little strange. But hey, it still beats over $4/gal!

Tupelo has redefined "Southern Hospitality", and the fuel price is also GREAT! We stopped enroute from the Bahamas back to Missouri because of the excellent Self-serve price, and were very pleased with the tower reception, airport, and the neat little house the city built for their Self-serve operation. We will make this a regular stop, and where else can you get a soda or candy bar for fifty cents...On an honor system!

Great place, and great price for the gas! Now, if they would only fix the computer and phone. Came through coming and going to Sun-n-Fun, and the phone/computer were down both ways. Will continue to stop however for the great gas price.

Great fuel price, easy to use pump, very nice facility right next to the fueling area. Pilots lounge was unattended, but the fridge was stocked with snacks and drinks and uses the honor system. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Can't ask for much more!

Great experience and very low fuel price's. A very convienent spot to stop for fuel and self serve however, a little more complicated if you plan to stay overnight. The self serve facilitie's are about 1/2 mile North of the terminal where the car rental folk's are located and no easy way to get there. In our case we called the airport number listed in the AOPA book and Terry Anderson, airport manager answered the phone. He picked us up and took us to the terminal to pick up a rental car. He also offered us a ride back to our airplane if we needed one the next day.We were very impressed to find that kind of service at regional airport. Thank;s Terry. We appreciate the help.

I stopped twice, coming and going. The building across from the pump's is nice but it seems either one toilet is working or the other - but not both. The phone for the weather briefing was completely messed up and difficult to use. Someone needs to look into that as I had problem's both times. It was doable but not very. Great refueling set up, though!

Excellent adventure. Not only a superb low-price fuel stop, but when the engine would not start after fueling, Reed and Chuck took us in like family. They spent hours helping troubleshoot the problem, then got us a hotel, loaned us the airport car, towed the airplane to the maintenance facility for repairs, and just generally did everything they could to help ease our misfortune. We were on our way the next day, but with our lives enrichened forever by the experience. If you're ever in a cynical mood, just stop by Tupelo and hang out with these friendly folks. You'll feel better right away!

Stopped in on the way home to Chattanooga from LOE5 RV Fly-in at 5T6. The self-serve facility is easy to find near the Phillips 66 sign and easy to use. The place had a "fresh" scent in the pilot facility building across the taxiway from the self-service fuel pump location. Best of all: The price was very good!
