On Saturday, Nov 5, we diverted our King Air 200 to Winder because arrivals at Athens, GA were delayed because of the TN-GA football game. The Winder team was ready for us and many other jets and turboprops. They parked planes in every available spot, brought in free pizza and Zaxbys chicken, and had an FBO team that was ready for this horde of unplanned airplanes. The staff was very professional, courteous, and did not get upset over anything.
