Just spent a few days in Wildwood Crest. The people at Big Sky are terrific, as always. Clarence had the rental car from the Ace Sharper people on the tarmac for our late, after hours arrival on Sunday night. Today, the line service professional was just that- brought the fuel receipt out to the plane, took care of the car. They care - and it shows. Great job guys...

Had a wonderful time this past weekend at Cape May. Have been here 2 times before with my family and Big Sky has always been great to work with. They are always helpful unloading our plane and are quick at refueling. The thing I like best is that they do all of this with a smile!

Flew in with my son for the weekend. FBO staff is great ... highly recommended. Shuttle to major destinations is $25 one way, but we were able to rent an economy car for $29 for a 24 hour period. Tie down for a 150 was $10/day with first day waived with gas purchase.

Came back here again with my pilots group I run based at Robbinsville Airport. (Mercer Flying Club) Original intentions last Sunday where to fly up north to Rhinebeck for WW1 Airshow, but lingering IFR conditions kept us from proceeding. Instead, we made a last min decision to fly to Cape May. Three aircraft, and nine members took aloft, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Flight Deck. WW2 Museum was great as always, and still in the midst of putting new things up on display. Keep up the good work Cape May!

The Flight Deck restaurant has been reopened, and has been running smooth since last May when it was reopened. I believe it has a new owner. I flew in tonight with my girlfriend being its open until 8pm on Fridays, and enjoyed an economic dinner! Their dinner options are sort of light interims of choices However, I’m sure once business picks up, their dinner menu will expand. Their appetizers are great as well. (Best Mozzarella sticks ever!) Kate, and I had the Chicken Ceaser Salad. It was very filling, and best of all, only 21 bucks before tip for the two of us! Wow! If only non-aviation restaurants where this cheap! I am glad to see Flight Deck back at Cape May. I use to visit this place all of the time when my father was involved in flying years back. Hours are 8am-2pm, and Fridays 8am-8pm. Check it out sometime!

Decided to make a dinner run to Cape May, our second trip in as many weeks. Always great service at Big Sky! Thanks Clarence for all your attention to details. Our Ace Sharper rentals were ready each trip and the drop off was as easy as it gets at Big Sky. The system works and makes a quick trip fun!

My sister & I flew to WWD for lunch while on vacation in Sea Isle City. Tim @ Big Sky Aviation couldn't have been nicer. After he marshalled us to parking, he drove us to the restaurant on the other side of field. Later he directed us to Millville to get a replacement microphone cover. Big Sky Aviation is a very friendly and helpful place to do business.

Parked for the day with my Seneca. The people were friendly and helpful, even though I did not need fuel. The Naval Museum is a short walk, and worth a tour! I will likely stop here again; it is convenient to the beach.

Flew in on July 3 for the weekend. It was predictably busy on the ramp, and all the spots with pre-rigged tie downs were taken. Clarence was right out to chock the wheel, and later moved the plane to a tie down when one opened up. This is the typical friendly service here that we've all been spoiled by over the years. Also, the flight line diner is open, down by the aviation museum. Always a pleasure to visit.

Flew into Cape May for the Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. It all started with the service at Big Sky Aviation!! The staff there is wonderful and I found that I was treated like everyone in all the other postings...Prompt service, the rental car was immediately available, extremely friendly staff, etc...I highly recommend these professionals and can't wait to go back for a visit. Thanks a million!

Clarence and crew met us as we taxied in. They were friendly, had the car waiting for us and took care of the plane. We were given directions into town and were off on our way. When we returned they came by to take the chocks and wish us a good flight. These are the kind of people that make you want to come back again. Good job Clarence and Big Sky Aviation

Flew in Sept. 6th to check out 1st day of bike week. Clarence treated us well and had a car from Ace Sharper within 5 minutes to take us to the center of the action. The car met us promptly at a predetermined location for the return drive to the airport. Cars (vans, actually) were clean and the drivers MOST professional. All in all a great day trip.

We had a great experience at WWD. There is no mistake-Clarence knows how to make you feel welcome and get you on your way quickly. Car rental was a snap. There are great restaurants in Cape May so the minor cost of car rental is well worth it vs. Going to an airport diner. Ill be back!!

Clarence Crawley runs a top notch FBO at Cape May Country. It's not the fanciest place I've ever been in but it's clean, has the appropriate flight planning facilities and gets you in, out and in a manner that shows they really do care about the customers they have. Very refreshing these days. Great job Clarence and crew!

I have to agree with comments below. Arrived with wife and daughter December 21st for a CG graduation ceremony. Ace Sharper had a reasonably priced vehicle waiting for us but as we taxied onto the FBO ramp at 6PM, the lights went out and we watched as the employee drove away... Apparently w/ the rental keys in hand. We called Ace and thankfully Clarence came in after hours with keys and was very apologetic for what had transpired. Great customer service by Clarence, We had to leave quickly due to deteriorating wx and he had plane fueled in matter on minutes. We will be back!!

Wonderful! Myself and a friend Jared visited KWWD and Big Sky Aviation because his alma mater and my current high school was in a cheerleading competition at the Wildwood Convention Center. My mother helps with he squad and we figured we would fly down and surprise them for the day. When we arrived a man by the name of Clarance has us park wherever we wanted. We went on into Big Sky Aviation where the very helpful Clarance called and had us a taxi within 10 minutes. Big Sky had all of the amenities we needed such as restrooms (important after a 1.5 hr flight), coffee, comfortable chairs, and computers so we could check the weather before our departure back to KAVP. Clarance was very friendly and helpful! Upon return to Big Sky Aviation from the competition, I bought a rather 'nifty' Big Sky tee shirt and got off the ground and on my way home! Big Sky waived our parking and tie down fees since we didn't stay overnight!! THANKS FOR A GREAT TRIP BIG SKY AVIATION!

Flew down to WWD on Labor Day to visit the Cape May Zoo with my wife. Unable to get rental car company on phone prior to our flight so I called Big Sky Aviation. I spoke to Clarence there who happily offered his assistance. We landed as scheduled and were greeted on the Unicom by Sandy also at Big Sky Aviation. She guided us to the ramp where Clarence readily guided us to a tie down front and center. By the time we got out of the airplane the rental car was driven over with the AC on and ready to go! Went inside for thirty seconds of paperwork and off we went. We needed no fuel and still were not charged any landing fee. These folks are some of the nicest out there. Thanks to Clarence and Sandy at Big Sky Aviation for making our visit a wonderful experience.

Flew in on Sat for a one-night stay. Everyone was helpful and nice. They had a rental car brought over for me before I unloading and securing my airplane. They helped me get a room for the night on this extremely busy weekend. I was very pleased. One thing, though. They need Internet access and a wireless network. The people at the FBO said they were not busy enough to justify the expense. However, while I was there I saw a Gulfstream g4 (or 5) on the tarmac and a King Air. The cities of Cape May and Wildwood need to get involved, either the governments or the commercial operators who would, for a very small amount of money, greatly benefit by having an airport with good weather information access.

This FBO is hands down the best I have visited. No sooner did I land when they were calling to ask if I needed services. How many times do we have to call and call other FBO's just to get a reply? They parked me, chocked me and gave me a ride to their building all with the most pleasant people. Third year in a row visiting Big Sky Aviation, 3 nice new tee shirts to show for it. I recommend them highly!

This airport is a treasure! Big Sky is a very efficient, professional FBO, but unfortunately their mechanic is based at Millville. Plenty to do on field, including the Wildwood NAS museum and the Forgotten Veterans Vietnam museum. Call Ernie at Ace Sharper (609-889-7722) for an on-field inexpensive car rental and the car will be waiting for you. WWD is 5 miles equidistant from either the Cape May or Wildwood beaches.

I flew in on July 17, 2007 to drop off a buddy at Big Sky Aviation. Just after the mains touched down, UNICOM contacted me, and I was met by a smiling lineman in a yellow shirt. The ramp was in excellent condition. I shut down and went inside Big Sky to pay the landing fee, which much to my surprise, was waived! I opened the door to which I thought was for the rest rooms, which opened up to the Hanger, which I thought was funny. No big deal there. The weather computer left a lot to be desired and I did not find it useful at all. The pilot room was not overall impressive, but that is not to say it was bad at all. I didn't need fuel, so I thanked the lineman and departed. I knew of all the DHC-4's at WWD, unfortunately did not have time to check them, or the museum out. I was very happy and impressed with the customer service I received at Big Sky. I will most definitely stop in there on my next cross-county and recommend others to use them as well.

We arrived on Saturday June 16 without a reservation. Even though it was the busy season, the FBO found us a nice room at a hotel in downtown Cape May--just across from the water. They arranged for a rental car and gave us good suggestions for food. It was a nice place to stop on our way to Boston.

We landed our Cessna in September 2005 to spend a week in Cape May. The service here is impeccable and people are very friendly. This FBO is very professional. We bought t-shirts and caps from Big Sky! We are going back this year and looking forward landing again in Cape May. Beautiful area. We leased a house 3 miles from the airport. Cape May is a great retreat with all the advantages of the ocean, great weather and great people. See you in August Big Sky! We'll be there with Lily (our dog but really the co-pilot).

Great stop. This has to be one of the easiest credit card services to use on the east coast. The instructions are clear-cut and the pumps are easy to use. Don't forget to check out the museum on the field. Admission is $6 for an adult and $3 for a kid. There is a lot of information in there. Most of it is geared towards NAS Wildwood's (now Cape May) role as a dive-bombing training facility during WWII. The aircraft are cool too. Great stop. Hope the restaurant opens soon. Gas was 4.49/gal.

This FBO is amazing. They are so nice. I landed on 4/21/07 and was instantly met by someone who filled up my Cessna 152. I walked over to the hangar to look around then paid my fuel bill and left. I never ran into any problems and was greeted with a smile everywhere I went. I highly encourage anyone to fly down and visit WWD.

After a lunch stop at Sussex County (GED) we decided on a hop across the bay for day of shopping and picture taking. We touched down at WWD and parked at Big Sky. The young man working the line was very polite and quick to set chocks after shut down. Thanks Sean for the directions to the lighthouse they were spot on! On our return Sean took care of the car rental (which was waiting for us on arrival) and offered to help with adding oil prior to our start up. GREAT SERVICE!!
