Great place to go for fuel. Price is right! It's self-serve, but Wes is right there to help. Pratt and Whitney were funny. They sat and waited till the plane was shut down and then came out to welcome us there!

Flew in with the "Keystone Flight" formation of five on 3 Nov 2007 for fuel before departing on a "Grand Canyon of PA Foliage Tour." Very helpful and friendly service getting all the planes re-fueled at incredibly low prices compared to the rest of the area. This is a very well maintained field with professionals running it. The three airport dogs are a riot and worth flying up to visit again! A good airport always has a good airport dog - in this case, N38 has three! We'll be back - Thanks Gents!

We flew into Wellsboro on 9-24-07 to visit with Wes and the canine co-managers Pratt and Whitney. The airport is in a wonderful location nestled into the surrounding hills with a very nice ride in and out. K and W has a nice operation here, clean, relaxed and very welcoming. The fuel price was as advertised and just about the lowest around. After a while sitting on the front porch with Wes and P&W we headed for home. Thanks Wes for an enjoyable afternoon we'll be back for a visit.

Wes McKinney who helped me fuel my plane from the self-serve pump greeted me. After a very cordial conversation with Wes, I was on my way. Unbeatable self-serve fuel prices. A pleasant and memorable stop along the way.

Great airport in beautiful location. FBO was open but nobody there. Nice facility. Self-serve fuel. Well worth the stop.

Really nice gentleman that runs the airport. If you pay by cash you get a 10 cent discount. We ended up paying $3.05.

Just to correct a couple misperceptions: K&W self-service fuel takes ALL major credit cards, as posted on the sign above the pumps, but if you use Phillips 66 you get a discount on top of the already rock-bottom price! The pilot-operated runway lights were down for maintenance very briefly some time ago, but are up and running now. The low traffic count, quite understandably, doesn't justify full-time lighting. Still a first-class operation, run by Wes and his canine co-managers, "Pratt & Whitney." Mark your calendar for the Memorial Day and Labor Day breakfasts.
