What a wonderful place. The Piper J4 Cub still rents for $20 per hour!!!!! C150 for $35. Besides the place is just awesome! A must visit for anyone coming closer than 50nm to W90! PS. If you like the new shiny places without character this airport is not for you. But if you like true people with a lot of dedication for aviation you got to go there.

Great place to stop with good gas prices and a very friendly staff, almost like going back in time to the 1950's.We were hungry so they loaned us a car to go to the Sheetz, came back to the field and ate at the picnic table it was great (not the food) just the atmosphere. We will be back.

Stopped in last week. RWY 17 has a slope but shouldn't be a big deal. I doubt you'll see any jet traffic at this airport. It was a nice fuel stop with friendly people. Prices for fuel were as advertised, one caution though, they don't take credit cards, cash or checks. I don't know if they have any amenities, but a great place for a quick turn for fuel and a bathroom stop. See you on the next trip.

I second all of the previous comments. This is aviation as it should be! Still $20/hour for the J-4, which by the way is a very rare airplane (only 250 or so left flying and I've got one in million pieces in my garage). This airport might not appeal to the jet set crowd but for those who truly love and appreciate aviation it is a must see.

Great little "home town" field. Interesting collection of charact...Errrr...Pilots. Rental price for J-4 is unchanged. Significant slope to runway, but just additional opportunity to excel!

Absolutely one of the coolest airports on the planet!!! This is where airport bums would want to spend their afterlife. More "characters" per square foot than anywhere I have ever seen. All of them real down to earth people sharing their extreme passion for aviation and pooling their resources to make it happen not only for themselves but for anyone who comes along and shows any interest in flying. A J4 cub with over 700 solos in it rents for $20/hr and flew virtually non-stop the 2 days we were there. A busy shop with only one "paid" employee but 5 or 6 people working on their airplane, their friends airplane or even your airplane just to "keep em flying!" Nearly 100 mostly vintage aircraft on the field! Every aviator should make a trip here to learn how to create their own aviation utopia from the masters. Now the disclaimer: If you don't like to get your hands dirty and prefer sterile politically correct humor then this place may not be for you, but you should go anyway! :-)

Excellent fuel prices, although Mogas is up to $2.99. Plenty of conversation and lots of tail wheel airplanes available to look at. Self-service and on the honor system. Take a look at the Notams to avoid Friday night Drag racing.
