We've been using the Million Air conference room for our weekly evening safety meeting of local pilots for more than 25 years. There was never a charge. Today they sent us a memo saying there will now be a $250 dollar PER HOUR charge to use the small conference room effective immediately. I am very disappointed with this outrageous fee for a room that sees little to no use after 7pm. The conference room policy was updated as part of a broader effort to establish consistent facility-use standards for all groups and organizations. This change was not directed at any specific group and reflects the costs and operational requirements associated with maintaining our facilities.
