This is a wonderful place to fly in for a weekend. The airport management was friendly, and a shuttle will take you to the hotel. From there you can ride the park service busses into the park. It was really a great way to enjoy the park, no car needed. So much fun. No chains on the ramp, bring your own ropes/chains. DA is often over 10, 000ft so pack light!

The airport is well maintained, but be cautious, as there is high terrain all around. The terminal is home to several businesses related to local tourism. There is no "FBO" as such, but prompt fueling for a good price provided by the airport operator/manager. There is no flight planning room, the vending machines are inoperative and there are no other snacks or drinks available other than a water fountain. The facility is nice (ladies, the bathrooms are nice), the chairs comfortable, but minimal for transits coming through. They seem to be well set up to support tourist coming through who will be staying overnight.
