These guys are the best stop in the SLC area. Good people whom genuinely want to serve air commerce and the local community. As long as you don't need an IFR dept. I was flying into Bountiful, changed my destination to U42, South Valley regional Airport in West Jordan based on weather forecast for snow and low ceilings. (U42 is a public airport with taxpayer supported airport maintenance, and has an instrument app/dept). Seems like an appropriate decision. Two days after the weather event, the snow is cleared at Bountiful & the airport is available for business. Meanwhile, The Salt Lake City Airport Authority hasn't even started at South Valley regional. They haven't even shown up. Just one person from the FBO on the field working alone. I called SLC airport mx to ascertain when we might be able to get aircraft moving: "they will get to it when they get to it." Bountiful's private airport is open, W Jordan hasn’t even shown up for work.

I cannot say enough great things about the consistent hospitality of Chris and his staff at this great airport. Every at Skypark is friendly and helpful and they make visits comfortable and easy. KBTF is an excellent alternative to KSLC right in the same neighborhood.

We stopped at Skypark on our way back to SF from the Detroit area in a TR182. We got a rent a car for the night, hit a restaurant and flew home the next day. The crew was very nice & helpful. Brought the rental car out to the plane and found a place to tie down the plane. You have to realize this is a tiny airport right under the SLC Bravo. Use your GPS to find the airport and HELLO! Watch out for the BRAVO! By the way... If you like Chinese... Mandarin Restaurant is a great restaurant!

Great experience all around. Used as an alternative to HCR after having several less than stellar experiences there. It was about the same driving distance to Park City, and infinitely more enjoyable FBO experience. A bit tricky to find from the air, but Salt Lake Approach was extremely helpful. Called ahead for info, and everyone I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful. Ramp parking was easy and 2 line staff was waiting upon landing to marshal me into a spot. Had an Enterprise rental car dropped off prior to arrival, which has brought planeside shortly after touchdown. Fueling was quick and accurate. Best part is that parking is free with very reasonably priced fuel purchase!
