While visiting Daytona to drop our son off at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, we experienced a starting issue with the left engine on our Piper Navajo. We contacted Daytona Air Services and met with the maintenance manager, explaining my suspected cause—a worn magneto cam. He noted his extensive experience with Navajos. After turning the engine over for only a few seconds, he immediately confirmed the diagnosis. Two technicians responded promptly and corrected the issue within a few hours. The team at Daytona Air Services interrupted their scheduled work to accommodate our aircraft and get us back in the air with minimal delay. Their knowledge, efficiency, and commitment to customer service were outstanding. Highly recommended.
