Hi, Quick Note on a recent RON, Echo the other PIREP's on this Operation! Nice Airport, fairly easy In & Out, just be very aware of the surrounding Military Helicopter Traffic. A lot of Army Training just East at Ft Novosel and nearby Aux Fields. Easy Self Service AvGas, lots of Ramp Space for Parking and Excellent Service from Enterprise Car Rental with easy on Airport Pickup/Dropoff Service with the Enterprise Plus GA Program. Thank You to Mr. Mike & Mr. Keith, great service, Thanks for the Ice! George N8434M

Stopped here enroute from Columbus, GA to Destin, FL due to too many thunderstorms. The downside is that they close at 5 PM and will kick you out. The good is that it is easy in and out. Cairns approach told me that 121.1 is a weak frequency for them, so if you have any issue with that then use 133.45.

Great little airport. Easy in and out. Good service. Car was dropped for afterhours arrival.
