This was my second experience dining at Cafe Sophie. It is great to have an airport restaurant open at GAI again. The food is excellent. Far better than standard "airport diner" fare. While there are the standard burger, sandwich and breakfast options, they also serve more upscale food with nice salads, daily specials, and entrees including a variety of meats and seafood. The Cafe has a somewhat European/Scandinavian theme, but there is something on the menu for everyone. Impressive looking espresso maker for latte drinks, etc. Tables were full at lunch during a winter weekday when the airport itself was not that busy. The restaurant is good enough to appeal to the locals, not just the fly-in crowd. Friendly service as well. Enjoy.
