Better late than never....Flew into KIUA on Labor Day last year (2024) for an overnight stay en route to Saratoga Springs. Called ahead about FBO hours and courtesy car availability. Was told by Tom at VAS that we would be arriving after hours and that the courtesy car was already signed out. While in the air, I got a call from Tom stating that he would stick around and wait for our arrival to get us all settled and that the courtesy car was available for us after all. Overall, we had great service and an excellent GA experience from VAS.

Mixed review...Called ahead, got ramp fee, etc. Parked, and specifically inquired as to "where do you need me to park". Answer was "right there is fine" (parked over marked "T"). Came back as scheduled, plane had been towed. Attendant said, "don't know who towed it, but said they needed to park a jet". No phone call. No evident damage despite locked controls. On departure, asked if I "minded" a "convenience fee" for a credit card...No thanks, I'll pay cash. "We don't accept cash". It's just a ten-spot but just be prepared to pay a "convenience fee"...I've had damage before from towing, so I'm especially cautious. Beautiful airport, beautiful countryside...

Flew in with wife for breakfast run downtown and was met by Tom from VAS who assured I was Ok with the self serv (good price) fuel farm. Then brought the courtesy car to my plane and confirmed we were headed to the best place in town to eat. We'll be back soon. Thanks Tom
