Basler takes advantage of the captive audience during Air Venture. Purchased gas for two aircraft (top dollar 7.79) during the show. Asked for overnight ramp was told it would be 85 dollars. Before the aircraft was moved from the display area to Basler ramp was charged for two nights. When I arrived on the ramp made an inquiry about the charge. Was told it's a daily fee. So, from 5:30 PM until 8:30 AM the next morning charged $176 for ramp fee. So, if you show up at 11:55 PM and leave at 12:15 AM that would two daily fees. The aircraft was not even tied down only chocked on the ramp. Sent an email to customer service at Basler inquiring about the charge twice, No response. Not that it will hurt them, but that is the last DIME Basler will collect from Me. Phillip Grice 251-656-2304.
