Nice runway facilities. One minor request -- the ladder in the self-serve fuel area was not big enough for us to easily refuel our MU-2. While it's probably sufficient for refueling most aircraft, I suggest getting a larger ladder to accommodate all types.

Very clean and well-maintained airport, staff are wonderful, especially Rachel in the office, who is the most pleasant and helpful people you will ever meet! They have courtesy cars, a restaurant, and great ramp. Definitely my favorite place to stop!

2 other gyroplane pilots, a 182 pilot and I stayed here for 2 nights while going to Bensen Days gyroplane event at Wauchula. We have stayed here for the past 3 years and every time, have had a wonderful experience. Everyone from the security, linemen and desk staff has been wonderful. Rachel is a real "beam of sunshine, " was so pleasant and helpful that I have to mention her by name. Luis (lineman) was also great. They have a great restaurant in the terminal, inexpensive self serve fuel, will hold and accept rental car keys left for you, and will help with whatever you need. The Terminal building is beautiful, the grounds and airport are well maintained, and there is plenty of room for any number of aircraft. Lockwood Aviation is on the property if you need any Rotax parts. We will continue to stay here when we are in the area.

Sebring has a beautiful airport terminal building, which is a mix of nostalgia and history. At this time of year, the sound and sight of racecars practicing for the 12-Hour Race are apparent. The airport cafe has spacious indoor & outdoor seating, BUT I was disappointed with slow service and the eggs & toast were cold when brought to the table. I hope this will improve.
