Based at ZPH at the time of this incident. Airport employee parked airport maintenance equipment too close to taxiway. During pushback into hangar aircraft contacted the equipment damaging wingtip in excess of $10, 0000. Video evidence supports the entire event. Employee lied and airport manager refused to accept responsibility and had no knowledge of airport operations regarding taxiway clear areas. As a result, I sustained this financial loss as well as the loss of use of the aircraft which took approximately two months to complete. Due to resultant ill treatment, the aircraft was relocated to another airport. Additionally, the aircraft was stored outside awaiting repair subject to harsh Florida weather elements and further potential damage.
