Wow! This is a gem of a fuel stop. I thought for sure the $3.03 was a very outdated price, but it was correct. Standard self-serve terminal, which worked great. The real treat was walking inside the city-owned "terminal building". Nice, clean bathrooms, comfortable couches in the lounge. A refrigerator with sodas and a cup for your dollar. There was even a courtesy car parked outside. It was nice to relax for an hour before tackling the thunderstorms to the west. The building is accessible 24 hours by door code (Unicom frequency). Thanks City of Mangum for the great fuel price and even better pilot's haven!

Good fuel stop. Friendly locals welcomed us and this is an unattended field. Fuel pump is a SS and just be patient, as it will prime/pump just takes time.

Great fuel prices, stopped 6/11/2009. Self-serve was easy to use. Finally got the phone to work. No Internet access. With that kind of fuel price I would go out of my way to go there.

Flew in on 12-19-07. Self-serve fuel system is easy to use and prices were as advertised. Terminal building is very nice. Overall, a great place to stop.

Just before landing at Fredrick, OK, we noticed our Grumman Tiger's alternator was not charging. We were surprised there are no mechanics on the big field at Fredrick. We called around and found Fred Hardy and Mike working at 2K4 near Mangum and flew over there. Fred checked our plane out, ordered an alternator at 4 PM on Wednesday, 4/16 and took us over to a nice motel. He picked us up again in the morning at the motel as he came back from UPS with the alternator and had us in the air again at noon Thursday 5/27. Great people and service at 2K4 in Mangum, OK.
