Nice runway, but when I arrived and taxied to the pump, I was met with a sign that said no fuel available for the foreseeable future. When I asked at the maintenance shop, I was met with a shrug. This airport is not served by the NOTAM system so when AirNav indicated that fuel was available, I stopped. Ended up going to KPSK.Response from Jerry Hooper, Manager, New Tazewell Municipal Airport
Fuel has been out of service for over a month. NOTAM was issued and is still in effect. Should have fuel available by July 7, 2022.
