Flew into Old Bridge for the first time today. Fuel has risen to $5.65 for credit or $5.50 cash or a Phillips 66 credit card. Paul brought the truck around rather than having to do self serve. He's planning further improvements, and I found him helpful. As noted earlier, $5 a night to save a pretty good little field is not so bad....

Stopped by for 100LL at a good price. $4.35 per gallon but $4.20 if you pay in cash. A little funky for sure but you get what you pay for.... Or less.

Based at Old Bridge, we have grown accustomed to Paul's nasty attitude. It adds a touch of "New Jersey" to your stopover.

The airport is sleepy and the FBO is nothing worth a letter to Mom. The location, however, is very convenient for me, and I am happy to pay the $5 fee to help the airport survive in a region under full assault from developers.
