I overnighted at Jennings on June 25th on a trip from Phoenix AZ to Macon GA. Preparing to leave Friday morning, I experienced engine roughness at run-up and limped into Gulf Air for help. Bruno, one of the fine mechanics stopped his work on an Aero Commander and had soon removed the cowl on my Cessna 140, pulled, cleaned and regapped my plugs, reinstalled the cowl and sent me on my way home to Georgia with a handshake and a smile. Great service from all associated with this FBO.

Flew in on a Sunday afternoon and no one was around. We taxied over to the Holiday Inn and had lunch. Excellent Gumbo at Walker's Cajun Dining.

The folks at Gulf Air are a class act. Treat yourself to a bit of South Louisiana hospitality coupled with a healthy dose of gulf coast aviation history and visit with the Vidrines at Gulf Air. These guys went WAY out of their way to help me get Terminal Procedures so I could complete an unexpected trip to Houston. Thanks, I'll visit again soon!
