On our Christmas cross-country from Duluth MN, to South Carolina, stopped for an overnight and fuel at Kentland, hotel right next to airport. Called ahead about plugging in plane for the night and a courtesy car. Jim apologized because car was not working. (They will have a replacement soon) he came out with his wife late in evening to personally take us to hotel. Then he actually provided us another vehicle. Was going to plug in the plane, he said skip that, let's put it in a heated hangar for the night. This really made our stop special. The folks at Kentland were so nice and helpful, I could almost go back just to visit them! Merry Christmas!

Stopped in My Tailwind on 5/22/23 on way to Kitty Hawk from LSE. Great fuel stop and nice guy at the airport. I would stop again.

Overnighted in the area on my way to the Cessna 150-152 Fly-In. Called earlier in the week about getting the crew car for the night and was told it was available. Called upon arrival, manager walked me through the process to get the keys and I was on my way. Great Midwest airport. The Good Table diner outside of town has great food. Can't say enough about the hospitality. Would stop there again.
