The airport manager went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Very reasonable fuel prices. Cash or check only. Manager said there is no charge for after hour’s callouts.

Arrived on a Tuesday at about 4PM local. No one at the airport office - locked up. Thought things would not work out, but when I called, the manager arrived within about 5 minutes. I'd advise calling ahead if possible. Price still 3.25, but it turns out they only take checks or cash. The airport manager was very friendly and she drove me to an ATM machine to get cash - about 5 minutes away. Not much going on at the airport itself, but for cheap fuel can't be beat.

this airport is city operated and this has some drawbacks because of "lukewarm" support from the city of Monmouth. The best way to counteract this is to show your support and fly in whenever possible. Make sure to sign the guest book. Nice folks, all very friendly and helpful.
