This is a fine airport and a great fuel stop. SS and FS fuel are reasonably priced. The fuelers were quick, professional, and friendly. The terminal building is clean and has everything pilots and passengers need.

What a wonderful overnight stopping place to land. On May 29, 2024 I stopped to fuel and spend the night in Wilbarger County Airport. The town of Vernon, TX is just a couple of three miles up the road. They had a courtesy car (a Ford Crown Victoria) they I could use, advice on what hotels were the best to stay at, and an old WW2 hangar that I could park my Skylane in for the evening. David and crew were all very friendly making it a great stopover. Thanks
