Beautiful area. Fun steep approach to rwy26. I learned locals suggest landing on 8 and takeoff on 26. Good fuel prices with no fees. Plenty of parking. Gorgeous new building with overnight pilot's sleeping lounge (dark with 3 Lazy Boy chairs) and kitchen. Heads up: Don't pick fill-up on pump. It will hold 499.95 on your card until it clears. Use gallons or dollar amount instead. Nice, clean bathrooms. Receiving lounge and front desk was nicely decorated for Christmas. The pump was out of receipt paper but Mark emailed me the receipt once it cleared. Mark was gracious and helpful. This will become a favorite stop of mine.

Stopped in for self serve fuel on 10.6.2024. What a GORGEOUS approach into the valley! Ice cream cups in the freezer made for a perfect quick stop! Be prepared to take off downhill with a little tail wind RNWY 26.. Consider density altitude and take off weight carefully. Terrain on each end.

Attended their fly-in BBQ. What a great shindig. Great food & people. Enjoyed the camaraderie. Terrain and density altitude require focus, so be on your toes. Great stop, we'll be back!
