Good price on 100LL with clean facilities, but a very lonely place. The 3-step ladder was almost too short for my 185; it is a good thing that I am 6'1" or I would have had to use the seaplane technique of climbing up on the wing. There was no one to be seen in any direction. I found the crew car, but could not find the keys.

Nice quick stop. Self serve easy enough to use. Restrooms were clean.

Stopped in on return from OSH '07 for reasonable gas price. Excellent facility and SS gas. Borrowed one of the two crew cars - had lunch at the L-bow Saloon in Johnstown, 1890's saloon. Good food, great people - don't miss the opportunity.

Stopped here on July 20th on the way to OSH. 100LL worked out to $3.57/gallon ($3.317 + taxes); the cheapest of the whole trip. Nobody around, but the courtesy car was there. We borrowed it for a bit to grab a bite to eat in town, and still nobody was in the office when we returned.

Stopped in for fuel, place was dead, didn't see one person. Everything was great though, didn't have any trouble, nice facilities.

Stopped at KANW on July 4th, 2006. As with previous comments, the facilities were first class, clean restrooms, computer for weather and flight planning and the crew car was there with the keys in the ignition (didn't use it but it looked to be in good shape.) It appears that the runway was recently seal coated with new markings and was in really good shape. Fuel price was as advertised on AirNav and credit card service worked well. Spent about 45 minutes while we had lunch and didn't see a soul. This is a great fuel stop. Highly recommended.

Based on AirNav, stopped here for fuel. Great price, nice lounge with a weather briefing terminal. Watch out for the asphalt seal on your shoes on a hot day.

Stopped en route back from Wisconsin to Colorado for a cautionary refueling stop, when headwinds were a bit more than forecast. Self service fuel, nice air-conditioned office with free WiFi and WeatherMation. Courtesy car available if needed. Nice stop and the price were right, too.

Landed here just after dark on a Saturday and Lance was very helpful. Courtesy car warmed up and ready to go. The fuel price was reasonable and the self-serve pump is lighted and ran ok after a few swipes of the card. It was super cold so we hangared the plane and the next day Lance helped me with a preheat without which the plane wouldn't have started. Nice little town; Comfort Inn is great as is Our Place for a nice steak dinner and Subway for a quick meal.

Great place for a self-serve splash of fuel. Two nice runways to choose from. Courtesy car for lunch (recommend the Depot in town rather than the L-bow Bar out West). Fuel was about $0.25 cheaper than Eastern NE and $0.50 cheaper than Eastern WY.
