I base my Grumman Tiger at Journeys. It is an excellent and active FBO with flight school, aircraft rental, glider tows, and maintenance facility. Self-serve fuel or fuel truck is always at competitive prices for the area. Monthly tie downs are the lowest available, on concrete, but bring your own ropes. Next to the terminal building is a small viewing area and "runway" for airplane observers where EAA 1627 sponsors Young Eagle flights on second Saturdays. The 4100' runway is long enough for every single and twin, plus light jets. Read the specific aerodrome specs before flying to avoid the glider box on the south and Saturday TFRs during football season. Right traffic on runway 26 is a must.
