This has been one of our go to stops for years. Great airport. However, this trip we noticed a sign posted on the door with a user fee schedule that went into effect May 1. This included overnight charges significantly out of touch with their market (70/night parking for a light four place twin). The operator/municipal/county authority should reconsider this since for many of us, an unfair shot against GA sours our opinion not just of the airport, but of the city for future visits or investment.

This is exactly what communities need to draw people in. Beautiful terminal, nice crew car, great food in town, and excellent fuel prices. Awesome stop between Detroit and Naples. Keep up the great work!!

What a pleasant surprise! On the way back from S&F 04/13/24 we were treated to a free meal of BBQ, slaw, & beans for topping off. Apparently this is an annual ritual the entire week of S&F. Would have stopped on the way down if I had known. Good fuel price. Response from Van Mills, Airport Manager, Baxley Airport
Sun/Fun travelers, this is Van the Airport Manager. The Baxley Municipal Airport (KBHC) will be providing free BBQ sandwich meals for all aircraft fueling up from Monday, April 9th, until Monday, April 14, 2024. We are on the North-South flight path for Atlantic coast traffic. Our FBO is beautiful with plenty of lounging areas and our restrooms are clean.
