Horrible service, unexpectedly from the facility managers out of all. We were a charter flight. When I called to check their schedule I found out that they close at 22:00. Not an issue, we can go to a hotel and return when we need to depart. Problem arose when I asked about "after-hours" service. I was told they needed to find out first if "anyone wants to work and come in". REALLY? - THIS IS AN FBO that is supposed to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you DO NOT want to work just say - WE ARE CLOSED, THERE ARE NO SERVICES between 22:00 and 07:00. When we arrived, the manager decided to have a ramp personnel stay with us after 22:00 until 02:00 when we are supposed to depart at a rate of $175 / hour. Receipt was supposed to be issued next day according to actual overtime. 2 days later - no receipt. Called for one only to find out we got overcharged for 10 hours of overtime (we only stayed 4)! Called back to resolve the problem, nothing was done. NOT an honest FBO, hard to deal with - AVOID !

Have been flying from/BJC for 20 years, Bonanzas to Citations, and Sheltair is absolutely AWESOME! Best thing to happen to BJC.

I parked a C-182 at Sheltair Friday and departed Sunday. Saturday afternoon the wind picked up more than expected and I was kicking myself for not tying the airplane down. I arrived to the FBO Sunday and find that Sheltair employees took it upon themselves to turn the airplane into the wind and tie it down with their own ropes. Excellent value at $25/night with beautiful facilities.

For my piston single tiedown fee was $25 per day. With a fuel purchase of at least 10 gallons avgas no days were waived, but there were no other fees. Otherwise a handling fee would apply. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. They will generally lead you in under the cover to unload, and then move the plane to a tiedown. I have had good rental car service with Hertz. The FBO building is spacious and comfortable.
