I recommend you call in advance to alert the staff to expect your arrival. I didn't. I had been to Burley years ago and had fond memories of the FBO and the woman running it. When I needed fuel on the way north to the Idaho backcountry, I chose to stop in Burley again. The FBO door was locked and there was a faded piece of paper taped to the window with a couple of phone numbers to call for service. No one answered either number. So I checked for other fuel options nearby and ended up at the Jerome airport. While there, I got a call back from one of the Burley numbers. Kevin was calling from the FBO to apologize and say that his phone was in his pocket and he didn't hear it ring while he was doing some pressure washing somewhere.

No Saturday fuel service without callout fee. This non-traditional limitation was not posted anywhere prior to my flight in July. 32 miles to the NW for lower price SS fuel and superb pilot accommodation at Jerome.

A fun family mission brought us to BYI where we received quick fuel, a much needed oxygen refill. We took advantage of the "first come, first served" courtesy car (which was already topped off and ready to go) for a trip into town for food. The line and office staff was most pleasant, welcoming and gracious, and their services were prompt! We were glad a family affair brought us to BYI!
