I fly a 421, 401 and Bonanza for a law firm. I choose Atlantic Aviation because I've always received very good service and it's a known quantity. It seems like it's Atlantic policy to waive the ramp fee if you purchase a minimum amount of fuel (30 gallons in the 421). This Atlantic does not provide 100LL, but calls another FBO on the field to come over and fill you up. I'm ok with that, but they still want me to pay the ramp fee (ironically, they would have waived it if I bought fuel from them). Ok, that gets under my skin and almost keeps me from going to another Atlantic. At the very least they should have told me when I phoned the day before that they don't sell 100LL and that I would be paying the ramp fee (if that was the case, there are several choices on the field). I reached out via email and phone call to corporate Atlantic Aviation to find out why they thought this is fair. A month has passed with no response. If you need 100LL, skip Atlantic CRQ.

Atlantic is a welcome addition to the CRQ airport and having CAA is a major bonus! We upload 2000 gals a week and everything as been smooth. However, our priority is rental cars for our boss and the crew. Whatever FBO works best with Go Rentals is whom we take our business to. Atlantic used to have Go rentals (cars) on site but now they have been having issues getting them. We have started to call the other FBO's to find out who can keep these cars on site for our short notice flights. I would recommend Atlantic Aviation CRQ but call to make sure they have your rental cars before you depart.

Friendly line crew. Flew in with a C172 and they chalked it and directed me to the front desk. Atlantic doesn't sell 100LL, but offered to arrange for it to be fueled.

Welcome to Carlsbad, Atlantic! Great experience on my first visit to their new FBO at KCRQ. Efficient line staff and very friendly CSR's at the desk. Spacious and comfortable facility stocked with various munchies and beverages. Great fuel price with CAA. I'll be back.
