Quick turn for our Robinson R44, with a lot of help at the pumps and a wide variety of cold drinks and snacks.

Flew to Barstow-Daggett just to get familiar with the area. FBO rep immediately answered CTAF, directed us to the self-serve, met us there, and helped us use the equipment. Good conversation and friendly guy in a kind of "desert people" way. Would definitely stop here again!

I have family in Barstow and fly into Daggett 3/4 times a year, the Hamm family runs the FBO and are always helpful and friendly, last time in, Hertz even delivered a vehicle to the airport to drive, life is good!

OK-landed at the heliport and noticed the fuel truck driving by us... Called on unicom and asked for fuel-Jet-A. The response was this: "I do not use the truck for you civie pilots... Fly over to the fuel depot and use it - I only use the truck for miltary helicopters".... Wow, at $5.60 per gallon, one would think that an FBO would use the truck for all aircraft. I have never been treated in this manner at ANY FBO (and yes-I've landed in countless airports where there are military aircraft based on the field). Will never use this airport again. Victorville is only a short hop from this place and totally different service-for the better....

Stopped in on the way home from Las Vegas. Daggett is situated perfectly between the restricted airspace of Edwards and 29 Palms. Great service, friendly folks. I enjoyed the stopover.

It's an almost bi-monthly stop for me and the congeniality only gets better. The burritos aren't bad, either. Regards,
