I stopped at Duplin County on Oct 21, 2009 for fuel on a return flight from the outerbanks. This was my second visit to Duplin County and both times the service has been great and the fuel prices are the best in the area. I will definitely be returning to Duplin County.

Stopped for fuel on a southbound trip on 2/11. Nice new terminal building, excellent flight planning room. Self-serve was 3.83 for 100LL, and the staff were very nice. Not much traffic. The wind was strong from the southwest, making Duplin's 6000 foot Rwy 23 more than sufficient. Nice, easy, fuel and snack stop.

I made an unplanned stop at KDPL due to weather. George the airport manager, who was quick to offer me use of the crew car after calling around to various hotels for me, and finding the best deal, greeted me. George is the Man! I ended up staying at a bed and breakfast just a few miles from the airport that I would recommend to anyone. One night turned into two, and I must say there really is something to the old expression "southern hospitality" I'll go out of my way to return to KDPL on my future trips, and if I get weathered in, I'll just call the Murray House country Inn@ Gardens.

We flew into Duplin County for fuel on our way to Jekyll Island. The service was outstanding. The line guy fueled our plane at the self-serve fuel pump. Very nice and clean FBO. Would recommend this stop for anyone!

Stopped here on the way home from Sun-n-Fun - super nice line service (he topped me off using the self serve pump) nice facility and amazingly low fuel price.
