Had good experience here in the past but not recently. Only one person staffing the FBO the past couple of visits and had to wait 15 minutes to pay fuel bills before departure as they were off fueling other aircraft. On my last stay there was a $20 tie down fee even after purchase of fuel. Would have been cheaper to park three rows away in the transient tie downs and purchase cheaper fuel at the pumps. Would have been quicker too.

Much better experience than dealing directly with the airport for transient parking! Lineman was there to guide us in and offered to help with the bags on a busy holiday weekend. Not a fancy FBO but very reasonable prices and good service. Will certainly be using them in the future as we fly into KEMT several times a year.

Needed to be in the Burbank area for some quick business but elected to go to KEMT to avoid high fees/fuel from KBUR and KVNY (KWHP does not have rental car service on Sundays). Billion Air had my rental care ready. Clean facilities and reasonable fuel. Very friendly line guys (wish I remembered their names - sorry guys). Will go back next trip to the LA area.

Unimpressed - When I got there no one was in the office and the car I reserved was not there. Even called ahead to give them a heads up that I would be coming in and gave them the reservation number for the car but still not there. Called the number posted and the line guy said he would be right there but he never made it back. Enterprise showed up to pick me up before the line guy made it back so I left with them. Returned the car and the guy at the desk did not want the paperwork for the car. Returned it at 8 am and they told the car company I returned it at 3pm which would have resulted in an additional day's charges, had I not caught it. Going elsewhere next time. With the situation at SMO options in this are seem to be getting limited.

Visited here for the first time recently and spent three nights. Ground told me to park in the area marked "Transient" which is right in front of Billion Air. No marshaling or help from line crew but that's OK with me. After tying down the plane and tucking it in I went into the FBO. The line guy asked why I parked where there would be a charge (from the city, I guess) when the FBO's free parking spots begin one row over. They took a fuel order. Three days later the plane had not been fueled. Nice people but there is a measure of local knowledge required to get the best experience. First time visitors would be wise to call ahead.

I've always had great experiences with Billion Air, both as a transient visitor and since basing my small experimental airplane on the field. Good fuel prices and friendly service. Shin in particular has gone the extra mile for me on several occasions. Also for sure Billion Air is the best option if you need a rental car.

Very nice FBO. Goes out of their way to help us every time.
